Collection 2012 Collection 2012
With 2012 collection our company PELL‘S
comes to third decade of existence. It was
founded shortly after political changes in
Czech republic and belongs to oldest and
now also traditional Czech trade marks.
PELL‘S is one of the technological leaders
in cycling industry in Central Europe. This
was also confirmed in the Bike Brno Prestige
competition (that was three times listed
during the international fair Bike Brno). In all
years the international jury selected as the
best Czech product a PELL‘S bike.
Year 2008: 1st place PELL’S Seven X (mtb)
Year 2009: 1st place PELL‘S 6IX (road)
Year 2010: 1st place PELL’S Seven (road)
We focus on the development, research
and application of carbon composites from
the beginning. We have developed number
of custom technology solutions - from
custom carbon fiber tube technology to the
unique rear triangle or BMX specials.
Our first developed and manufactured
frames were handmade carbon specials
for pure racing purposes. After success
of PELL‘S bikes in World Cup race (Giro
d‘Italia), World Championships, Olympic
Games and several Czech Championships,
since 2006, we began to produce a
complete collection of bikes to satisfy a
wider range of cyclists. Our rich experiences
in development and construction of racing
carbon frames, which are the guarantee of
originality, craftsmanship, sense of detail,
proven geometry and tests in the toughest
racing conditions, are reflected in these
collections.
We are proud of international success of
our riders also in this year. For example of
Romana Labounkova‘s sovereign victory
in 4X World Championships in Leogang
and also other of her achievements in BMX
World Cup. Jarda Rygl won two World
Championships in MTBO and also other
riders are successful while testing our bikes
on the race track.
Introducing new catalogue is our annual
pleasure. This is the moment when the new
collection begins to live. It‘s a moment of joy,
euphoria, expectations and also result of our
yearlong work. We love cycling and we are
obsessed with perfection. Combining these
two powers led to 2012 collection.
We believe in quality of our bikes, that‘s
why we decided to make a significant step in
our customer care. We offer you now a free
extended three year warranty on the frame
and PELL‘S components. With the new bike
registration system you can also get help in
case of theft of your bike.
vision and implementation
Our roots are already deep enough and it is easy to see how out ideas gradually transform into the final product. A
good example of how the vision comes into reality is the development of a unique PELL‘S Medium Tail rear triangle.
The system of rear suspension via
two carbon foils was for the first time
developed and tested in 2002. The
carbon foil was first introduced to
public in 2003 in Soft-tail system on
XF3 frame (the frame was made from
carbon tubes built into aluminum
pipes).
In 2004 we first introduced PELL’S
Medium Tail system - the system
of rear suspension via two carbon
foils. On the figure is X6 model
supplemented by doublecrown
carbon fork, which was also made
on own development basis.

Tube was first introduced in 2008.
The frame was made by using
the „tube to tube“ method. The
technology Bottom Stiffness Booster
was used for the first time here. This
bike won the first year of the Brno
Bike Prestige competition.
Medium tail system has undergone
further development in 2009. Rear
triangle foils got Carbon dropout
and Carbon post mount. The Seven
frame was enhanced by head tube
1-1/8“ – 1-1/2“ and BB92 crank.

that responds to the development
of more efficient disc brakes, stiffer
string wheels, rims and other
components.
We do not focus only on the top models development but all of our model series go
through a gradual evolutionary process. The most popular MTB model series Razzer
uses 4 different frame types that are still being developed but all of them carry common
genes of their predecessors - typical profiling and technologies. Have a look at even
the cheapest Razzer model - used profiling, technologies, post mounts or design that
underlines the quality of grinded joints. Then you can compare it with the cheapest MTB
models of other brands. The difference is noticeable.
