The donor dam of LOT 23, DIAMOND ENCHANTRESS 658L did it
again, 6 NR108 and 5 YW 107. Her 2009 calf is the all time high
selling bull in the 18 year history of Diamond Dot, selling for $28,000
to Jensen Angus in WY and later a semen interest to Thunder Creek
Angus in Canada. LOT 23 is the natural calf of this donor cow and
has the look of a real herd bull, he has the same thickness as his
maternal brother with some additional length. This donor cow is truly
one of the highest volume, deepest, and easiest keeping cows you will
find any where. The picture of her was taken before
calving when she was running in a group of 400 plus
cows on a high percentage straw ration. The maternal
great grandam of LOT 23 was a very influential donor in
our program and was the maternal grandam of the high
carcass and high selling DIAMOND BENCHMARK 3R65
that sold to KCS Angus in the spring 2006 Stevenson
Basin sale. LOT 23 is a herd sire prospect that will
see use in our program.
