Members of the public are welcome to address the Commission and Town Board. Individuals wishing to speak on an item (whether on the agenda or not) must sign in prior to the start of the<br />

meeting and may speak during the Public Input segment of the meeting. This segment is placed early in the agenda so that the public may make their comments prior to any discussion or action<br />

by the Commission or Town Board. Individual comments are limited to no more than three minutes each. The Public Input section is limited to a total of 15 minutes. The Commission/Town<br />

Board may suspend this rule if deemed necessary. Once the public input segment ends there will be no additional discussion from the audience. Note regarding non-agendized Town related<br />

matters: Pursuant to WI Statutes 19.83(2) and 19.84(2), the public may present matters; however, they cannot be discussed or acted upon until specific notice of the subject matter of the<br />

The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society, Brookfield, WI, to conduct a Light the Night Charity Walk on<br />

September 27, 2012, beginning at Fox Cities Stadium to FVTC. Fireworks display at the Stadium.<br />

Recommend approval with the condition that no fireworks begin after 10:30 p.m.<br />

Garden Walk, Emergency Shelter of the Fox Valley, to conduct a public event to view various<br />

gardens throughout the Fox Valley, from Springbrook Cercle to Capitol Drive to the City of<br />

Appleton, on July 14, 2012; five hundred vehicles anticipated at various times. Recommend<br />

approval with the following conditions: 1) neighbors in the viewing areas are notified of the event;<br />

and 2) all cars are parked on one side of the street.<br />

F. NEW BUSINESS<br />

1. Plan Commission Recommendation:<br />

a. SE-09-12 Special Exception requested by Geoff Holz, 1820 Melody Lane, for construction of a<br />

1,200 sq. ft. detached garage, with the following conditions: 1) Garage siding and roofing<br />

materials, and door/window treatments match those of the residence; 2) The gable height of the<br />

garage roof will not exceed the gable height of the residence; and, 3) No other accessory buildings<br />

or structures be allowed on the property. PC recommends approval.<br />

b. SE-10-12 Special Exception requested by Russ Darrow Group, 4400 W. College Avenue, for<br />

operation of an automobile sales, service and repair business. PC recommends approval.<br />

c. CSM-02-12 Certified Survey Map requested by Timothy Rose for a three-lot CSM with roadway<br />

dedication at 5000 N. Gillett Street. PC recommends approval.<br />

2. Agreement between the Town of Grand Chute and Kolosso Toyota for the design, construction, and<br />

dedication of a new public road in the 2600 block of Wisconsin Avenue, extending between W.<br />

Wisconsin Avenue and W. Randall Street.<br />

3. Accept petition from Roger Rogney, 636 S. Casaloma Drive, for attachment to Sanitary District No. 1<br />

and direct the Town Clerk to schedule Public Hearing on July 3, 2012.<br />

4. Change Orders:<br />

a. #1- Casaloma Concrete Panel Replacement, increasing contract in the amount of $24,523.64.<br />

New contract price is $413,833.39<br />

b. #1 – Glen Creek Acres Urbanization, increasing contract in the amount of $42,302.50. New<br />

contract price is $1,292,076.86. Substantial completion date changes from July 20, 2012 to July<br />

31, 2012 and the final completion date from August 3, 2012 to August 14, 2012.<br />

5. Purchase Order for a Rhino 72-inch Flail Mower Attachment for the MB Sidewalk Tractor from<br />

R.N.O.W. in the amount of $4,668.<br />

G. ORDINANCE<br />

1. Ordinance 01-2012 creating Chapter 315 regulating the operation of Hotels and Motels (appendix A<br />

and permit application included).<br />
