Internal Memo
FROM: Registrar TO: All Students
REF: ACU/RO/3.1/030 DATE: 24 th April 2012
Re: University Policy on Residency
This is to remind all students that the University is fully residential. It is therefore,
against the rules and regulations of the University for students to rent
accommodation outside the University or patronise hotels in town.
Any student who takes up residence outside the University does so in contravention
and defiance of the Policy of the University on Residency. To further appreciate this
matter you are advised to read and be conversant with the University Policy on
residence as provided for in Chapter Four of the Student Handbook of Information and
Regulations. Particular attention should be paid to Sections 6 (i) on p. 24 and 10 (a)
on p. 26.
To this effect, any student caught renting accommodation outside the University
campus or patronising hotels will, henceforth, be appropriately sanctioned.
Please be warned.
