REPLACEMENT LED FLOODLIGHTING TO REDUCE
YOUR COSTS AND CARBON FOOTPRINT
10W 1000 LUMENS
Our LED floodlights offer both huge energy savings
and a long life span, meaning lower energy bills as
well saving on associated maintenance costs.
ALUMINIUM CASING
Robust, durable and IP65 rated (water and rust resistant)
30W 3000 LUMENS
CLEAR BRIGHT LIGHT
Colour temp white 7000k with 1000-7000 lumens (depending
on model)
UNIVERSAL BALLAST (90-240Vs)
Enable them to run direct from mains or from a 110v
generator
50W 5000 LUMENS
ULTRA LOW POWER CONSUMPTION
The EcoStar offer a 500% increase in output per watt when
compared to incandescent lights (depending on model)
NO MAINTENANCE
LEDs are compact diodes that have no filament and offer
50,000hrs of continuous light
70W 7000 LUMENS
VASTLY REDUCED HEAT
Unlike halogen, LEDs do not require a ‘cool down’ after
use and can be operated at ground levels reducing light
pollution
FOR A GREENER FUTURE
The CO2 carbon savings on the project
would be about 890kg a year. However,
when used with a generator, which a lot
of halogen floodlights are, then it's far
greater - about 1,700KG CO2.
When it's complete it should make a
compelling case for changing over!
UPGRADE YOUR HALOGEN AND HALIDE FLOODLIGHTS TO
OUR NEW LED ECOSTAR...
OVER 80% DECREASE IN RUNNING COSTS
A typical halogen floodlight will cost over £250* to run per year, while a 10W EcoStar
cost just £15* (see calculations)
PAYBACK PERIOD IN 6 MONTHS
With cost savings of over £200 per annum, converting to LED will pay for itself in less
than 6 months
ROBUST, SAFE AND VERSATILE
Operates from 90V-240V offering a cool white, shadow free light and is safe
for use in confided spaces
OPTIONAL ACCESSORIES INCLUDE
PIR sensor | 1.7M Tripod | 3.5M Tripod
An example of how much can be saved by
converting to the LED EcoStar:
A typical 300w halogen fixed to the mains
outside operating for 10hrs per day, 365 days a
year will cost appox £255. This is before taking
into calculation maintenance/replacement
saving from LED. Halogen have a much shorter
life and are prone to blow in power
fluctuations (a common occurrence) while LED
is far more robust and benefits from a universal
ballast. By converting to the EcoStar 30W you
could reduce this cost to as little as £30 a year,
saving over £220 - Which would cover the initial
cost in less than 6 months!
Note that the above savings are conservative, for example:
They reflect ideal U.K. power generation conditions of maximum nuclear, gas and renewable energy grid contribution, whereas some other energy sources result in double or even triple the above CO2 savings. They are for just a single floodlight – for most installations these figures will be multiplied by
a very substantial amount. Generator power calculations are based on large efficient units (20 to 200kVA). The savings for the widely used small petrol units (3 to 6kVA) are considerably greater. Financial savings do not include the greatly reduced maintenance costs associated with EcoStar
floodlights. Universal ballasts and cool running conditions (aluminium construction and thermally optimised design), ensure very long life with at least a ten fold increase in maintenance intervals compared with many conventional light units. All calcula tions are based on official/accredited sources
and include UK government and Carbon Trust current published data. These figures are based on operating the lighting for 10 hours a day, 365 days a year.
