I further acknowledge that the ability to comprehend and communicate effectively in English is a<br />

legitimate expectation for a position as a substitute in <strong>Coppell</strong> <strong>Independent</strong> <strong>School</strong> <strong>District</strong>. This<br />

requirement is necessary in order to appropriately conduct classes and lead instruction. Failure<br />

to comply with this requirement may result in my immediate termination from substitute<br />

employment with the <strong>Coppell</strong> <strong>Independent</strong> <strong>School</strong> <strong>District</strong>.<br />

Removal from Service<br />

Substitute Teachers may be removed from services at any time it is deemed necessary and<br />

appropriate to do so. If circumstances warrant, the substitute teacher may be restricted<br />

immediately from service, pending the outcome of an investigation of Policy violations.<br />

Substitute Teachers may also be excluded from working at particular schools if the<br />

Administration and Human Resources Department conclude it is in the best interest of that<br />

school to do so. Each school maintains its own Exclusion List of Substitute Teachers.<br />
