Our roadmap for tomorrow’s transportation system includes
you and your community. Though it will not be easy, our past
success at building nearly 80,000 miles of world-class highways
provides a solid foundation for meeting the mobility challenges
of the next half century.
Texas has a transportation problem and we
have a plan to solve the problem. The safety
of the traveling public, the expansion of our
flourishing economy, and the promise for
future generations of Texans depend upon it.
Our goals are measurable, and we are developing indices to
create a measurement system that will quantify our progress.
