The SeeGull EX CDMA/EV-DO Scanning Receiver offers
the high levels of measurement performance necessary
for effective network deployment, troubleshooting, and
optimization. The SeeGull EX’s Top N PN scanning mode
detects and ranks base station sectors at Ec/Io detection
levels as low as -28dB for CDMA2000 networks and -18.5
dB for EV-DO networks. Measurement rates of up to
25 measurements per second provide high drive test
plot densities needed to fully characterize the RF true
environment.
The SeeGull EX CDMA/EV-DO Scanning Receiver also
provides an optional reverse link channel power
measurement, which can be helpful in troubleshooting
certain interference sources in the uplink band. With both
RSSI and optional Spectrum Analysis measurement modes,
the SeeGull EX offers RF Engineers the critical tools they
need in a compact, rugged scanning Receiver.
• Measures and reports Pilot Delay for each PN in chips
• Measures and reports Delay Spread for each PN in chips
• Simultaneously scans up to 24 RF channels
• Multiple simultaneous Top N PN scans supported
Code Domain Measurements (option)
• Estimated Rho Measurements
• Reports Walsh Code Channels Ec/Io
• Frequency Offset Measurements in Hz
• Pilot Delay Measurements in 100’s of chips
• Absolute Timestamp
RSSI Measurements
• High speed RSSI measurement and reporting
• Selectable bandwidth for both Narrow (CW) and Wide
channel measurements
Spectrum Analysis Measurement
• Measures and reports power spectral density
• User adjustable frequency span, resolution bandwidth
