Amber-coloured, malty and notably bitter beer, with<br />

subtle citrus fruit qualities. Hoppy, malty, citrus and a<br />

very slightly sulphur aroma, and a long, dry, bitter finish<br />

with light fruit notes.<br />

Harvest Pale (3.8% ABV)<br />

Assertive citrus hop bitterness with some underlying<br />

sweetness leading to a refreshing zesty finish that<br />

lingers.<br />

Village Pride (3.7% ABV)<br />

Gold with nice malty nose followed by slight hoppy<br />

aftertaste.<br />

Steel Town Bitter (3.8% ABV)<br />

An amber beer with sweet maltiness, floral hop initial<br />

taste gives way to caramel sweet palate.<br />

Welsh Red (4.0% ABV)<br />

Golden Eagle (4.2% ABV)<br />

A gold, well-hopped premium bitter with a flowery hop<br />

aroma and fruity hop flavour, clean mouth feel, leading<br />

to dry, hoppy finish.<br />

Golden Pig (4.7% ABV)<br />

Full-bodied and smooth tasting ale brewed with Crystal<br />

and wheat malts and Goldings hops.<br />

Brewers Gold (4.0% ABV)<br />

Golden ale with citrus hop aroma and a sweet, soft, fruity<br />

emphasis in the initial taste. The drying aftertaste sees a<br />

return of the lemon and orange on the aroma. Champion<br />

<strong>Beer</strong> of Britain 2005 & 2006.<br />

Top Sail (4.3% A.B.V)<br />

A mid-brown full-flavoured but easy drinking bitter; a<br />

seasonal ale for March.<br />

Claife Crier (5.0% ABV)<br />

A classic looking dark stout with a slightly rich aroma and<br />

smooth palate. Creamy dry roast finish.<br />

EPA (4.5% ABV)<br />

Challenger hops provide the bittering while East Kent<br />

Golding hops are are added late in the boil to provide<br />

freshness. Maris Otter and Cara malts make this a very<br />

drinkable light straw-coloured ale.<br />

Hophead (3.8% ABV)<br />

A golden-coloured bitter with a fruity/hoppy aroma and a<br />

citrus/bitter taste and aftertaste. Wonderfully hoppy and<br />

clean tasting with a refreshing mouth feel. Flavours<br />

remain strong to the end.<br />

Original (5.0% ABV)<br />

The brewery's eponymous former Champion <strong>Beer</strong> of<br />

Britain. A dark strong bitter beer with a complex malt<br />

flavour.<br />
