The Community Operations Division carries out its mission by working closely with ACCORD’s
community partners to facilitate effective evidence-based community programs and services. The
Service Navigators located at each ACCESS Center conduct intakes and assessments to connect those in
need with appropriate programs, services, and resources.
Community Action Angels
Community Action Angels is funded by
donations from the community and consists of
many community volunteers dedicated to
assisting and bringing hope and comfort to all
people experiencing unfortunate circumstances.
ACCESS Centers
Located in Belfast, Belmont, Friendship, and
Wellsville, the Allegany County Community
Entry to Support Services (ACCESS) Centers
are Single Point of Entry facilities. ACCORD
has implemented a collaborative process which
assesses, plans, implements, coordinates,
monitors, and evaluates services and training
activities to meet the needs of families and
individuals through communication and
available resources to promote quality of life
within Allegany County.

Emergency Food Pantry Services
Families and individuals in need of food are
provided with a 7 to 10 day supply of nutritious
food as needed. Services include budgeting and
nutrition education and family development
goal planning.
Domestic Violence Services
ACCORD Corporation provides free and
confidential supportive domestic violence
services to individuals, families and children
living with domestic violence. Supportive
services include:

Domestic Violence Support Group
CHANCES is an educational support group for
victims of domestic violence and meets in a
facilitated group setting for sixteen weeks.
Victims are provided with education, support
and information necessary to maintain safety,
understand the dynamics of abuse, and identify
healthy versus unhealthy relationships.
Homelessness Prevention and Intervention
Services are provided to individuals and
families who are at-risk of homelessness or who
are homeless, including case management,
referrals for legal services, landlord mediation,
utility company mediation, access to safe and
affordable housing, financial assistance with
rent, mortgage and/or utilities, budget
counseling and family development planning.
