The Community Operations Division carries out its mission by working closely with ACCORD’s<br />
community partners to facilitate effective evidence-based community programs and services. The<br />
Service Navigators located at each ACCESS Center conduct intakes and assessments to connect those in<br />
need with appropriate programs, services, and resources.<br />
Community Action Angels<br />
Community Action Angels is funded by<br />
donations from the community and consists of<br />
many community volunteers dedicated to<br />
assisting and bringing hope and comfort to all<br />
people experiencing unfortunate circumstances.<br />
ACCESS Centers<br />
Located in Belfast, Belmont, Friendship, and<br />
Wellsville, the Allegany County Community<br />
Entry to Support Services (ACCESS) Centers<br />
are Single Point of Entry facilities. ACCORD<br />
has implemented a collaborative process which<br />
assesses, plans, implements, coordinates,<br />
monitors, and evaluates services and training<br />
activities to meet the needs of families and<br />
individuals through communication and<br />
available resources to promote quality of life<br />
within Allegany County.<br />

Emergency Food Pantry Services<br />
Families and individuals in need of food are<br />
provided with a 7 to 10 day supply of nutritious<br />
food as needed. Services include budgeting and<br />
nutrition education and family development<br />
goal planning.<br />
Domestic Violence Services<br />
ACCORD <strong>Corporation</strong> provides free and<br />
confidential supportive domestic violence<br />
services to individuals, families and children<br />
living with domestic violence. Supportive<br />
services include:<br />

Domestic Violence Support Group<br />
CHANCES is an educational support group for<br />
victims of domestic violence and meets in a<br />
facilitated group setting for sixteen weeks.<br />
Victims are provided with education, support<br />
and information necessary to maintain safety,<br />
understand the dynamics of abuse, and identify<br />
healthy versus unhealthy relationships.<br />
Homelessness Prevention and Intervention<br />
Services are provided to individuals and<br />
families who are at-risk of homelessness or who<br />
are homeless, including case management,<br />
referrals for legal services, landlord mediation,<br />
utility company mediation, access to safe and<br />
affordable housing, financial assistance with<br />
rent, mortgage and/or utilities, budget<br />
counseling and family development planning.<br />
