founded Element International Inc.,
an online retailer of organic, eco-friendly
and socially conscious products, in
late 2006.
Madeleine M. Miller (SNL ’05) has
been promoted to manager of communications
at the Council of Supply Chain
Management Professionals (CSCMP),
headquartered in Lombard, Ill.
Anthony Moore (MBA ’05) authored
the book “Scholarship Rich: Get Paid
(Not Played) to Go to College!” after
being awarded more than $118,000
in scholarship support for his undergraduate
and graduate studies. He
also founded the scholarship consultant
firm Positive Prerogatives.
Syed I. Ali (CTI MS ’06) joined IBM
Corporation in January 2006 as a
technical solution architect.
Emily B. Heugatter-Mathias
(THE MFA ’06) accepted a full-time
tenure track assistant professor position
at Centenary College in Shreveport, La.
Kelli M. Langdon (LAS ’06) is the
communication specialist at The
Chicago School of Professional
Psychology. Previously, she worked
in the school's student services
department.
Darwin A. Noguera (MUS ’06)
co-founded the Chicago Afro-Latin
Jazz Ensemble in 2006 to highlight the
musical diversity of Afro-Latin American
music and jazz.
Brenda J. Payne (SNL ’06) is the
founder of Ultra Clean Janitorial
Cleaning Service. She writes, “I am
doing quite well, and I enjoy the freedom
of having my own business. Two
years ago after being downsized, you
could not have convinced me that this
was possible. All I can say to SNL
students is ‘Try it! You will like it!’”
Mary C. Suchsland (LAS ’06) was
accepted into the Teaching and
Learning Program in DePaul’s School
of Education and is currently pursuing
a master of arts degree. She works at
Seton Montessori School in Clarendon
Hills, Ill.
