CHARLES D. CLINGAN, '88
Mr. Clingan prepared at Lewisburg High Schwl andBucknell
Academy. He completed the first two years of his college
course and then took up special work. After leaving
school he held the principalship of schools at Orlando, Fla.,
from 'XI) to '05. After resigning the principalship he read
law and was admitted to the Pennsylvania bar, later to the
Florida bar. In '98 he went to Kansas City, Misnouri, and
was swn afrer admitted to the bar of the State of Mi,souri.
As a member of the law firm of Warner. Dean, McLeocl Si
Holden he is pursuing a probperous career.
E. H. GUIE, '89
After leaving Bucknell Mr. Guiestudied law, and is now
a praetisingattorney in Seattle, Washington. He wasspeaker
of the House of Represematives in the Legislature of Washington
in '99. While in college Mr. Guie wasone of the
editors of the first L'A~ENDA ever published, which came out
in '88.
REV. A. J. IREY, '79
In '80 Rev. Mr. Irey was ordained as a minister of the Goopel
at the Pilgrim Chorch, Philadelphia, and one year later
was graduated from Crozer Seminary. He has held pastorates
at Vincent, Pa., Wheeling, W. Va.. and Warren. Pa.
As a Minister his preaching is scriptural, doctrinal, thoughtful,
and his methods are quietly and steadily aggressive.
Harmony and a solid, gratifying growth have marked his
ministry wherever he has been called. At its Commeneement.
June 22, 1904, his Alma Mater conferred upon him
the degree of Doctor of Divinity
