who didn't make it were sorely missed. It was a great start to, I hope, a number of
reconnections and personal reunions. It was especially great that so many came from
overseas or Cape Town. Please extend my personal thanks to Steven for organising such a

approached with some degree of apprehension by me but as soon as those faces started
appearing it developed into a brilliant evening of brief catching up and of reliving a few
memories over an excellent meal and a few drinks. I can honestly say that I walked away
from that night thinking that it was well worth doing, so a very big thank you to those involved
in the organising and importantly all those that attended because without the numbers we had
it would not have been the success it was. Take care all of you and may our paths cross real
