In April 2012, the branch will have the first visit from Arnold under their new management team. "This is all thanks to two special Arieniks in New Zealand who arranged this event to happen," said Gannon."We are very blessed to have such dedicated members here in New Zealand." Gefen Hundreds of Israelis have been using the Gefen International Israeli Outreach network, according to founder of the ministry, Yaron. During the last two months, 852 individual Israelis have taken the information to use Gefen's network. "Well over half of these Israelis are travelling either in pairs or as couples," explained Yaron. " So the actual number of Israelis who will use Gefen will be significantly higher." According to Yaron, Israelis are asking their hosts to explain why they care for them so much and how they are able to reach out 08
news and express love towards strangers. "Real life testimonies of God's faithfulness, and the gospel message of salvation in Yeshua are being shared with these people," said Yaron. "For most of us, it is normal to have the opportunity to meet with other believers, but the majority of young post army Israelis and indeed Israelis in general have not met believers before, especially as the number of believers in Israel is currently around 0.01 percent of the population. What is happening through this outreach program is very encouraging and so vitally important. Israelis have an opportunity to not only meet with believers, but stay in their homes where a seed may be planted, and a step may be taken toward recognizing Yeshua as Messiah." That is the direction Ariel Canada will be taking very soon. The branch has been invited to speak in Ottawa on the Feast of Purim. Then they're scheduled to take their travels across the country to Thetis Island off of Vancouver, British Columbia. Branch leader, Jacques Gabizonwill be doing his second series this school year, covering the Minor Prophets. His wife Sharon will join him this year and teach students some Israeli dancing. "We will be celebrating Passover a little earlier than usual this year," said Sharon. "The Capernwray students will get a taste of some ethnic Middle Eastern cuisine put together by their very talented and enthusiastic chef, who intends on making caramel brittle matzah, an Israeli salad called salatyirakot, and a host of other delights associated with Passover." In other news, the Gabizons report that they have been blessed to see five people come to faith in recent months, two of which have a Moslem background. "We are praying that 2012 will be a revival, if not worldwide, then at least in the hearts of individuals," said Sharon. "We are praying for an increase of admissions into the Kingdom this year." Ariel Canada is looking forward to a new and renovated website,which hopefully will incorporate four languages.
