Shalom friends of Ariel Ministries Australia. This is our second “End of the year
report.” It has been an amazing year, and we want you to be informed of some of the
wonderful things that have happened this year.
TOUR
We were very blessed to have Dr Fruchtenbaum travel for a month throughout
Australia. Everyday Dr Fruchtenbaum spoke somewhere, with often more than one
message per day. As always he gave excellent, in depth teaching from a Jewish frame
of reference, and patiently answered the many questions we all had.
Dr Fruchtenbaum and Paul traversed the country, west, south, north and finally east to
Sydney. In all these places they met up with likeminded believers who were hungry
for the Word of God. To that end we are now aware of Bible Study groups that use
Ariel material, including groups in Perth, Hobart, Geelong and Gosford. May God
strengthen those bonds
and develop more places
throughout Australia.
We want to thank all the
people who helped
organise the tour. In
every state we had help,
and without this help we
could not have done it. It
was a huge task but
because everybody did
their part it became a
great tour.

CAMP
We thank God for Heather Tupper and Jocelyn Bedford from Manna International,
who organised a Camp Shoshanah styled camp where Dr Fruchtenbaum and Paul
spoke. Dr Fruchtenbaum spoke on Zechariah and Paul spoke on Ruth. The amount of
work that it takes to organise a camp is huge, so we want to thank them for ALL that
they have done, not just for this camp but all other works in the present and in the
past. They have worked tirelessly for Messiah and we pray God’s richest blessing on
them.
SPEAKING
This year the doors were opened for Paul to present 34 Bible Studies, 5 Sermons and 5
conferences. He also had the privilege of saying the Sheva Brachot (the Seven
Blessings) at a wedding ceremony, such a joy and such an honour.
DISTANCES
As mentioned last year Australia is a big country, and that was reflected in our
driving. We drove some 6,600 km (4,100 miles) and flew almost 25,000 km (15,500
miles) for ministry purposes.
COOPERATIONS
We worked with three different
Messianic Mission Ministries in
Sydney that reach Jewish people with
the Gospel. We also meet quarterly
with these and other ministries to pray
and encourage one another. The
vineyard belongs to the Lord, we are
working with all who will share the
Gospel and teach the Bible accurately.

WEBSITE
We are grateful to Paul Knapp who is in the process of creating a website for Ariel
Ministries Australia, http://www.ArielAustralia.com, do come and visit us this year.
TRANSLATIONS
We would love to see Arnold’s teaching available in many languages. Paul is very
keen to see translations into Dutch, his native language. He is in contact with two
Dutch translators; one has almost completed The Footsteps of the Messiah. This will
need to undergo revisions and corrections before it can go to the publisher. The
second book that is being translated into Dutch is Messianic Christology. This has just
started and we hope that this will be an impetus to have more translations.
We also have a few manuscripts translated into Dutch, Ukrainian and one manuscript
ready in Chinese and hope that by March we will have a second one. Being so close

to Asia, we see a need and pray for God to enable this. For any new believer to grow,
he or she needs to read the Bible and the studies in their language. Will you pray and
partner with us on this
GRACE
When we stand back and reflect we are amazed that God opened every door and here
we are. What a journey, and by God’s grace we will continue to do all that we can for
His glory.

On a personal note, we still work at the
University though it seems that God might
be closing the door on that. Will you pray
and partner with us that God will enable
us to fulfil our calling
On a joyous note Sue and I celebrating
our silver wedding anniversary this year
and our second grandson was born, we
already had Jacob and now Elijah has
joined our family. We thank God both are
healthy and growing well.

Our dreams for next year are many, yet we want to always be mindful of the two
essentials in our ministry, the priority of Jewish evangelism and teaching the Bible
from a Jewish frame of reference. With that in mind we are looking for help in many
areas. Most people under 40 years of age are native to the web, so we would like to
develop a strong web presence, where we can teach online Bible classes from a Jewish
frame of reference. And for those who cannot join us, we would like to produce some
good quality DVDs locally to strengthen the Body of Messiah.
We would like to help raise up more local groups that teach Ariel or other solid
Biblical studies from a Jewish frame of reference.
We need to continue in our cooperation with other ministries. Yeshua in Luke 10:2
“And He said to them, "The harvest is plentiful, but the labourers are few. Therefore
pray earnestly to the Lord of the harvest to send out labourers into HIS harvest.” We
must remind ourselves it is God’s harvest, we must work together and bring in those
who will respond to the Gospel and strengthen those who are hungry for the Word of
the Lord.
THANKS
We want to say thanks to ALL who have partnered, prayed for and supported us
throughout the year, and want you to know we would not have done half of what we
achieved if it had not been for you! You helped us to do and go, you encouraged us.

The apostle Paul wrote in Colossians 3:16 “Let the word of Messiah dwell in you
richly, teaching and admonishing one another in all wisdom, singing psalms and
hymns and spiritual songs, with thankfulness in your hearts to God.” And indeed we
have tried to let the Word of Messiah Yeshua go out wherever we went.
But above all we are Thankful to God for His guidance in all that we have done, His
mercies are new every day.
PRAYERS
We appreciate your prayers for us and are thankful to all of you for remembering
Ariel Ministries. Your support makes the work of Ariel Ministries Australia possible.
1. “That God may open unto us a door for the word, to speak the mystery of Messiah.”
(Colossians 4:3)
2. That we may get more volunteers to help us, especially translators and editors are
needed for the translations of the Ariel Bible Studies, but also in so many other areas
we need people to come alongside and help build up Ariel Ministries.
3. For Wisdom and Understanding in all that we do, that we may fulfil our calling
4. Strength for the work yet ahead
5. Faith for and Faithfulness in our calling
