First Interview<br />
Witness must be interviewed as early as possible. Never<br />
coach your witness.<br />
During interview ask the witness to relate the story to<br />
the case.The matter must be within his knowledge.<br />
Interview the witness separately.Seek clarification and<br />
reduce the statement in writing.<br />
Prove the testimony. Ask question if necessary.<br />
Give the witnesses statement which comprise of things<br />
which is admissible or not, relevant or not.
