GRANTS AVAILABLE FOR ENVIRONMENTAL DESIGN A new program of grants in the area of environmental designarchitecture, landscape architecture, planning, industrial design, and interior design-has been announced by the National Endowment for the Arts. The program is being established to further knowledge and capabilities by supporting the development of significant new concepts. Beginning in June, 1969, two types of grants will be awarded: individual grants of up to $5,000, and group (matching) grants of up to $10,000.
