Before installing the shower channel, remove the<br />
grating in order to avoid damage.<br />
Apply adhesive tape (insulating tape or any other<br />
PCV tape) to the edge of the channel body. To<br />
achieve better adhesion to the floor materials, we<br />
recommend to use the medium grit sandpaper<br />
to roughen the side and bottom sections of the<br />
channel body.<br />
Assemble the elements of the drain trap.<br />
Put the adjustable feet on the stainless screws<br />
and block them with nuts. Place the channel on<br />
the stable ground and adjust the height using the<br />
adjustable bases.<br />
Install the air trap using the Φ50 pipe, set the<br />
shortest possible connection to the sewerage system<br />
and level the channel body. Upper edges of<br />
the channel body should be placed 1-2 mm below<br />
the floor level.<br />
Fill the space under the channel and around it<br />
with screed. Leave empty space above the flange.<br />
After 12 hours insulate the flange and the 3 cm<br />
area around it with the sealer (liquid gasket or hydro-insulating<br />
sleeve).<br />
Lay tiles or terracotta at least 1 to 2 mm above the<br />
upper edge of the channel body.<br />
Fill the gap between the channel edge and the tiles<br />
with the silicone sealant. For best results, make<br />
sure the silicon joint has the same width and colour<br />
as the joint between the tiles.<br />
When the sealant becomes dry, remove any mortar<br />
or silicone residue with a sponge scourer, then<br />
install the grating back into the channel.<br />

Product Usage<br />
Comfort in using linear drainage system is dependent not only on the quality and<br />
technical parameters of the channels, but also on the:<br />
• proper installation (installation tightness and setting)<br />
• distance between the drain and the raiser (the closer the better)<br />
• smooth connection between the drain and the raiser with the use of 50 mm<br />
diameter elements<br />
• professionally installed intake structure (too many joints, connections<br />
or wrong pipe diameter may reduce water flow)<br />
• professionally installed floor heating (if applicable) – it is advisable to keep<br />
25-35 cm distance between the heating installation and the drain trap<br />
in order to prevent the installation from water evaporation<br />
• keeping to installation and maintenance principles.<br />
Product Cleaning and Maintenance<br />
In order to preserve the high quality of stainless steel<br />
grating wipe it dry after each bath. At least once<br />
a week clean its external surface. Use non-abrasive<br />
cleaning products designed for use on stainless steel<br />
surfaces. Stainless steel is sensitive to mechanical<br />
damage and is not stain-proof. The cleaning function<br />
can usually be accomplished with a proper cleaning<br />
agent and a soft cloth or a non-abrasive scouring<br />
pad. Ground steel gratings should be cleaned along<br />
the cuts. We recommend regular (once every two weeks)<br />
cleaning of the foul-air trap to maintain proper<br />
water flow.<br />
