The <strong>com</strong>pany was established in 1896 as the Briggs Weaver Machinery Company. It was purchased<br />
by Sammons Enterprises in 1952, and became a separate working operation of Sammons<br />
Enterprises in 1996. In 2007, Briggs Equipment was adopted under the umbrella of Briggs<br />
International. Briggs Equipment currently operates in 20 facilities totaling over 700,000 square feet<br />
