The <strong>Continental</strong> Au<strong>to</strong>mated Buildings Association is pleased <strong>to</strong> announce<br />
that <strong>Brian</strong> <strong>Casey</strong> <strong>of</strong> <strong>Honeywell</strong> International, Inc. has been appointed <strong>to</strong> its<br />
<strong>Board</strong> <strong>of</strong> Direc<strong>to</strong>rs. <strong>Casey</strong> who is Vice President & General Manager for<br />
Cable & Cus<strong>to</strong>m Electronics at <strong>Honeywell</strong> International, Inc. replaces<br />
longtime <strong>Honeywell</strong> representative Roy Kolasa.<br />
Ronald J. Zimmer, <strong>CABA</strong> President & CEO said: “We are pleased <strong>to</strong><br />
welcome <strong>Brian</strong> <strong>Casey</strong> <strong>to</strong> the <strong>CABA</strong> <strong>Board</strong>. His appointment brings a high<br />
level <strong>of</strong> expertise <strong>to</strong> our organization, given his extensive involvement in<br />
the building au<strong>to</strong>mation sec<strong>to</strong>r.”<br />
<strong>Casey</strong> currently is a member <strong>of</strong> the leadership team at the <strong>Honeywell</strong><br />
Security Group and is responsible for serving low voltage security,<br />
commercial and industrial HVAC markets.<br />

Prior <strong>to</strong> joining <strong>Honeywell</strong>, <strong>Casey</strong> held leadership positions at Rockwell<br />
Au<strong>to</strong>mation, Schneider Electric, Vickers/Ea<strong>to</strong>n, and Comtrol. He has<br />
nearly 30 years experience in the commercial, industrial, and au<strong>to</strong>mation<br />
markets. He has contributed <strong>to</strong> multiple international standard<br />
developments including IEEE 802 (networks), ISA S88 (batch control) and<br />
ISO 61131 (au<strong>to</strong>mation).<br />
<strong>Casey</strong> earned a Bachelor <strong>of</strong> Science degree in Electrical Engineering from<br />
the Milwaukee School <strong>of</strong> Engineering in 1988. He is a senior member <strong>of</strong><br />
ISA, and served on the board <strong>of</strong> direc<strong>to</strong>rs for Interest Group SERCOS and<br />
ICS.<br />
