HOW TO SELECT YOUR KEOFITT SAMPLING PRODUCT 

The KEOFITT sampling product range is designed to cover the most common needs for hygienic sampling of liquids in most industries. 

Most products are industrially universal and available in different combinations to fit your exact needs in terms of both 

size, installation method, operation method and connections for steam and CIP lines as well as sample bottles etc. 

For ease of use we have divided our products into 4 categories represented by the 4 product icons: 

KEOFITT CLASSIC comprises the various sizes of the legendary, patented classic steam- sterilizable-in-place (SIP) and CIP-able 

sampling valves in 4 different sizes: M4, W9, W15 and W25, the numbers indicating the approximate I.D. in MM of the valve 

body. 

KEOFITT SIMPLEX is our product category for process CIP-able sampling valves for less demanding applications with no separate 

inlet for steam or CIP. 

KEOFITT REFLEX covers the our newest and unique patented double-seat sampling valve range covering needs for optimum 

SIP and CIP while also incorporating steam supply control and completely eliminating the steam inlet dead-space in previous 

designs. In a way, In a way, it is fair to claim that the REFLEX valve is a CLASSIC valve during steam-sterilization and a SIMPLEX 

valve during sampling. 

KEOFITT MISC. PRODUCTS includes Micro Ports for septum sampling, aseptic and other sampling bottles, steam boilers, 

Carlsberg Flasks and various spare parts for current and obsolete KEOFITT products.

KEOFITT CLASSIC SAMPLING VALVES, GENERAL INTRO 

KEOFITT CLASSIC comprises the various sizes of the legendary, patented classic steam- sterilizable-in-place (SIP) and CIP-able 

sampling valves in 4 different sizes: M4, W9, W15 and W25, the numbers indicating the approximate I.D. in MM of the valve body. 

The KEOFITT CLASSIC sampling valve consists of a Valve Body and a Valve Head. Each of the four KEOFITT CLASSIC product 

programmes consists of a number of interchangeable valve bodies and valve heads to choose from. Thus, to build one complete 

sampling valve it is required to specify the valve body and the valve head separately. 

Keofitt valve is a High quality sampling valve designed to fit most situations and industries. It is designed to be: 

• Highly durable. 

• Easy to sterilize in place. 

• Completely food safe. 

• The best in sampling. 

The valve can easily be sterilized before and after the sampling. Eliminating the chance of cross contamination and prevent the 

valve itself in harvesting unwanted elements such as bacteria. 

The valve consists of Valve Body and a Valve Head. 

The valve body is constructed to fit to various surfaces such as tank, pipe or connection ports. In- outlets also have different 

connection possibilities to fit all production facilities. 

The valve Head is fitted with one of 3 different types of membranes to suit for different production factors such as heat and 

pressure. Varieties of functions are available, such as Pneumatic activated, lever or turn-knob operated etc. Special solutions are 

available for example valve heads with key ring to limit the accessibility of the valve, and Micro port option where occasional use 

of syringe is required.

KEOFITT CLASSIC M4 SAMPLING VALVE, INTRO 

The KEOFITT CLASSIC M4 Sampling Valve is the smallest KEOFITT valve available. It is designed for the sampling of low viscosity 

products in the range of 0-100 cP with particles less than 1.5 MM in diameter. 

This valve is used in a range of industries such as breweries, dairies, pharmaceutical and bio-tech for products such as: 

• Water 

• Milk 

• Medical solutions 

• Filtered beer 

• Perfume 

• Olive oil 

Besides the selection of the Valve Body and the Valve Head there are three different membrane materials to choose from: 

Silicone, EPDM and PTFE. 

Accessories include quick fittings for the connection of tubing, piping and more.

that require no separate inlet for sterilizing or sanitizing media.

KEOFITT REFLEX SAMPLING VALVE, INTRO 

The KEOFITT REFLEX Sampling Valve is KEOFITT’s newest and patented double-seat sampling valve. Truly unique in the market, 

it offers optimal CIP and SIP conditions while also incorporating steam supply control and completely eliminating the steam inlet 

dead-space in other designs. In a way, it is fair to claim that the REFLEX valve is a CLASSIC valve during steam-sterilization and a 

SIMPLEX valve during sampling. 

The unique feature of this valve is in its membrane design which incorporates two separate seats for sampling and sterilizing/ 

sanitizing, respectively. The second seat is located in the area sealing off the valve head. This design allows the sealing area to 

be sterilized along with the valve chamber prior to each sampling procedure. Furthermore, no separate inlet is required, thus 

eliminating any dead space while sampling. 

The KEOFITT REFLEX valve is designed for sampling of low or medium viscosity products in the range of 0-1,000 cP with particles 

less than 2 MM in diameter. 

Available in a standard combined manual and pneumatic version only the process and sample outlet connections are to be 

considered to choose the correct REFLEX valve.

The KEOFITT MICRO PORT is a re-sealing rubber septum designed to take samples using hypodermic needles or syringes with 

minimal risk of contamination. Designed for sampling low viscosity products in the range 0-50 cP.

KEOFITT ASEPTIC SYSTEM AND SAMPLING BOTTLES, INTRO 

THE KEOFITT ASEPTIC SYSTEM AND SAMPLING BOTTLES product range is the logic way to collect the hygienic sample from the 

KEOFITT sampling valve. 

THE KEOFITT ASEPTIC SYSTEM enables the user to collect and transport a truly representative aseptic sample. The system is 

sterilized in place along with the sampling valve and protects the sample against airborne contamination during sampling and 

transport. Compatible with the KEOFITT CLASSIC M4 and W9 sampling valves. 

Other KEOFITT SAMPLING BOTTLES are to be pre-autoclaved and connected to the KEOFITT sampling valve only when valve 

sterilizing is terminated. There is a sampling bottle compatible with every type of KEOFITT sampling valve. 

Used for many products in dairy, pharmaceutical and beverage applications.

KEOFITT STEAM BOILER, INTRO 

THE KEOFITT STEAM BOILER is a portable steam source that offers the ability to steam your KEOFITT sampling valve where steam 

is otherwise unavailable. All you need is water and the appropriate gas canister. 

Please note that for obvious reasons steam is not generated under pressure and steam temperature is accordingly low. 

Comes with piezo-electric ignition, level gauge and connection tubing.
