Mounting frames made of extruded aluminium<br />

Mechanical properties<br />
• Luminaire cover made of highly-resistant laminated<br />
safety glass, providing optimum protection against<br />
shattering.<br />
• Luminaire body thanks to IP 65 protection rating is<br />
dust-proof and virtually bacteria-proof: Smooth,<br />
easy-to-clean and disinfect surfaces, thus suited for<br />
use in rooms with increased hygienic requirements<br />
such as in operating theatres and adjacent areas.<br />
• Use of mounting frames simplifies luminaire<br />
installation and the closing of the surrounding ceiling<br />
before actual installation of luminaires, ensures a<br />
visually clean transition to ceiling and seals the space<br />
above the suspended ceiling off from the room in a<br />
manner that is compatible with good hygiene.<br />
Optical system<br />
• Specular reflectors, individually adjustable for each<br />
lamp by up to +/– 30° from vertical, resulting in<br />
individual and flexible adaptation of light distribution<br />
to the given conditions. For instance, proportionally<br />
more light may be directed to where it is needed,<br />
i.e. the operating field.<br />
• Specular reflector with asymmetric light distribution,<br />
made of reflection-intensifying aluminium.<br />
• An optical system positioned under the<br />
T5 fluorescent lamp serves to eliminate glare<br />
and optimises the luminaire's light output ratio.<br />
• Glass pane with stylish fine-grained surface for<br />
eliminating uncontrolled reflections when using<br />
laser technology. Resistant against disinfectants<br />
and UV radiation, with white-coated steel frame,<br />
safely retained without frame by means of internal<br />
spring-tensioned clips in the luminaire body.<br />
Technical features<br />
• Switching and dimming of every individual lamp,<br />
facilitating different lighting scenarios or dynamic<br />
colour light control on RGB basis.<br />
• Green light insert for use in operating theatres<br />
especially for minimal-invasive surgery with low<br />
illuminance, available as an optional accessory.<br />
• Emergency light insert for integrating the<br />
Fidesca-PM into the emergency light system,<br />
available as an optional accessory.<br />
Electrical connection<br />
• Luminaires supplied ready for connection, prepared<br />
for separate electric circuits per lamp. As a result, it<br />
is possible to actuate not only every luminaire but<br />
every single lamp within a luminaire, and there is the<br />
possibility to connect the lighting system into the<br />
central <strong>OT</strong> room control system in integrated <strong>OT</strong><br />
systems.<br />
• Each luminaire has 2 cable glands for mains supply<br />
and further wiring. Additional cable glands available<br />
as an accessory.<br />
