There’ll be rivers in the gutters
And lakes along the street.
It will make our lazy kitty
Wash his little dirty feet.
Notes
Like kings and queens at court;
But the pansies all get muddy
Because they are so short.
I’ll sail my boat tomorrow
In wonderful new places,
And wash the pansies’ faces.
“Cleanness of body was ever deemed to proceed from a due reverence to God, to
society, and to ourselves.” — Francis Bacon
expect from them in this area. For instance, demonstrate and practice washing hands or
brushing teeth and flossing for younger children; discuss personal hygiene expectations
how you want these accomplished.
As you end each lesson, be
mindful throughout the
day that everyone in the
family is working on the
Cleanliness habit. Post
reminders around the
house if helpful.
