<strong>LEAP</strong> is a 3- stage leadership development programme by<br />

DSD with collaboration with stakeholders in SP

Programme are willing participants who are keen to sow the<br />

seeds of leadership awareness.<br />

To know & to apply! – Continuing students are given more<br />

depth into leadership education and opportunities in diverse<br />

and applied settings.<br />

To experience & to be! – Graduating students embark on a<br />

self discovery journey

1) Foundation Programme – To be willing!<br />

Objectives<br />

•Cover identification, trainings, workshops, support & guidance to<br />

plant seeds of leadership awareness.<br />

•Incorporated into 5 Day camp setting. Workshop in evenings by content<br />

experts. Discussion and reflections included.<br />

Audience<br />

•Identified potential CCA / Class<br />

leaders / SPOT / Scholars &<br />

Interested SP students.<br />

Implementation Plans<br />

•Based on the number of<br />

participants, >1 run of the<br />

programme targeted during the 2 nd<br />

term vacation period.<br />

Objectives<br />

•Students will embark on “experiences” eg. outdoor camp expedition,<br />

arts/drama experience, culinary experiences, and community service experience.<br />

• Identified continuing students to take on leadership positions in CCA<br />

/ Class.<br />

Audience<br />

•Continuing students from<br />

Foundation year.<br />

Implementation Plans<br />

•Depending on the experiences the<br />

students will embark, intermediate<br />

programme will be during the<br />

vacation period.<br />

• play a leading and mentoring role to their juniors in various activities<br />

and areas.<br />

•Graduating students of <strong>LEAP</strong><br />

•Pioneers and learning as they are going<br />

– These students will be mentors,<br />

leaders and co-facilitators for the<br />

foundation programme assisted by staff.<br />

Resources and support<br />

• Collaboration with CCAs / Academic club advisors /<br />

lecturers of content experts / CASS (SPOT & Scholars) and all<br />

other interested SP Staff. Facilitation trainings will be<br />

provided.<br />

• Schools can support <strong>LEAP</strong>@SP by identifying and<br />

encouraging:<br />

• suitable lecturers to join as facilitators, trainers and<br />

content experts.<br />
