Geneva Management Group is a privately owned trust and corporate

Our Services
GMG offers a unique combination of services to its client base, including
company and trust formation, accounting and corporate management,
cross border structuring and execution, investment monitoring and trade
execution, real estate investment, property management, and the provision

Trust and Company Administration
As a licensed Trust and Management Company we offer the following services:
Trust and Company formation
Director and Trustee services with proactive management of
companies, trusts and other legal entities
Accounting services, including full and detailed management
accounts, financial statements and cash flow models
Fiduciary and Treasury services
Access to international banks in well regulated jurisdictions,
including the opening and management of bank accounts

Private Trust Company
Wealthy families and professional firms may wish to establish a privatelyowned
trust company (PTC) to act for one or more related trusts. The
PTC combination enables families or individuals to achieve greater flexibility
which will not only offer the settlor a professional and integrated
management of assets but also the ability to retain involvement in their
trust affairs. The use of a PTC in combination with a discretionary trust
is an attractive solution to achieve such objectives. We can arrange for
the formation of private trust companies in a number of jurisdictions,
provide advice and arrange for an efficient ownership structure. We can
also manage and administer the PTC in the performance of its functions.
Fund Structuring and Administration
GMG provides comprehensive fund administration services including
licensing, compliance, accounting, reporting, and investor services. We
provide and design tailored made solutions for offshore mutual funds
from listed debt instruments such as our medium term structured note
programs to vanilla equity issues in jurisdictions across the globes. Our
administration services include the calculating of Net Asset Values at
various frequencies, daily valuations, monitoring investment parameters,
preparing annual and semi-annual reports for shareholders, organising
board meetings and maintaining statutory records, amongst others.
Portfolio Monitoring and Trade Execution
GMG has implemented a trading desk which handles immediate
trading requests and monitors any corporate actions for clients. Not
only is this an execution desk, with access to the latest market information
for all asset classes, but it also provides a quarterly consolidated
portfolio review of all clients’ investments, wherever held, and assists
the trustees and the client to review the risk-adjusted performance of
third party asset managers.
Real Estate and Investments
GMG believes that real estate should form a part of any well-diversified
portfolio and has set-up a dedicated desk to service these needs. Our
property team specializes in the sourcing of Commercial Real Estate
opportunities in Switzerland and the United Kingdom, and have
concluded a number of significant acquisitions for our clients. As an
experienced team we not only search for suitable investment opportunities,
but we also handle all jurisdictional issues involved in international
transactions and manage the investment vehicles and acquired
properties with full disclosure and reporting to investors.
Property Management and Relocation: Mauritius
GMG provides private clients with a range of services to assist them in
purchasing a residential property and relocating to Mauritius. GMG also
services property developers on the Island. Our offering is summarized
as follows:
Guidance to private clients in setting up the correct
structure for residential property purchases
Liaising with the Board of Investment (BOI) as required
Assistance with the granting of work and resident permits
Assistance throughout the relocation process to Mauritius
Guidance to property developers in setting up the
correct structure for IRS/RES/IHS
Co-ordination of the application process on behalf of
property developers for an IRS/RES/IHS
Acting as a Management Company for property
developments and their subsequent owners

Dave Elzas co-founded Geneva Management Group in 2000 and is the
Chief Executive Officer. Dave is also a non executive director of Gem
Diamonds Limited, a company listed on the London Stock Exchange
(GEMD). Between 1994 and 2000 he served as Group Managing
Director at Steinmetz Group of Companies. Dave Graduated Cum Laude
from the Solvay Business School in Brussels, Belgium, in 1990 with an
engineering degree combining the basics of engineering with a fullyfledged
business school curriculum, majors in Statistics, Economics,
Finance and Law.
Newman Leech co-founded Geneva Management Group in 2000 and
is the Group Managing Director. Between 1992 and 1998 Newman
was the financial director and one of the founding shareholders of
a retailing company that was sold inter alia, to a subsidiary of Rand
Merchant Bank in South Africa. Between 1998 and 2000 he served as
Director of Chis S.A., a Swiss trade finance company. Newman holds
degrees of BCOMM LEGAL (Bachelor of Commerce) and LLB (Bachelor
of Laws) from the University of the Witwatersrand, Johannesburg, South
Africa, graduating in 1992.
Henk Barnhoorn joined Geneva Management Group in March 1,
2008, as Chief Financial Officer and is the Managing Director of GMG
Trust Ltd (our Mauritian based Trust company). From 1999 to June
2006 he worked for Plantronics Inc, a US based Company listed on
the New York Stock Exchange. Henk Barnhoorn started his career at
PricewaterhouseCoopers where he worked in both the offices of South
Africa (Pretoria) and the Netherlands (Amsterdam). Mr Barnhoorn is
a Chartered Accountant (CA) and holds an Executive MBA from the
Rotterdam School of Management.
Haggay Aidlin joined Geneva Management Group in April 2003 and
is today the general manager of GMG Capital SA (Switzerland). Prior
to joining GMG, Haggay worked for Andersen Worldwide S.C., the
central coordinating Swiss entity of Arthur Andersen, between 1998
and 2003. From 1994 to 1998 he worked for Roche Consumer Health
(World Wide) S.A. Haggay holds an MBA degree from the European
University in Geneva and a BA in Economics from the Tel-Aviv University
in Israel (1992).
John Doidge the Managing Director of GMG Trust Company SA Limited,
is an admitted attorney in South Africa. He has specialised in the law
and practice of trusts and has 30 years’ experience in this field. John
was responsible for establishing Maitland Trust in South Africa in the late
nineties. He is a former General Manager of Syfrets Trust, where he spent
15 years. At industry level John is a former Chairman of the Association
of Trust Companies in South Africa as well as a founding member and
the Deputy Chairman of the South African Securitisation Forum.
Monique Van De Weyer Crettaz joined Geneva Management Group
in 2000 and is the appointed group Compliance Officer based in
Geneva. Monique regularly attends anti-money seminars in Geneva
and keeps the company updated with regards compliance issues.
Monique is fluent in English, Dutch, French and German and trained as
a teacher, graduating in 1980 from Hoger Secundair Onderwys college
in Antwerp, Belgium.
Lydia Ender joined Geneva Management Group in 2005 working as
an assistant to Dave Elzas. Currently Lydia is a Senior Client Manager
based in our Geneva office. She maintains a portfolio of clients who
are located mostly in Europe and Israel. Lydia earned an MSC in Theory
and History of International Relations in 2005 from the London School
of Economics and Political Science and a BA in European Studies from
King’s College London in 2004. She obtained the STEP Foundation
Certificate in 2008 and is currently enrolled in the STEP Diploma in
International Trust Management.
Tom Schiltz joined Geneva Management Group in February 2003 and
is a director of GMG (Luxembourg) S.A. and Client Manager for Europe.
Prior to joining GMG, he was Senior Account Officer from 1989 to 2003
at Antwerp Diamond Bank NV (ADB). Tom earned a master degree in
Economics and Finance in 1988 from the Antwerp Business School.
Sona Pillay joined Geneva Management Group in August 2006 as head of
client administration. Sona is based in Mauritius and serves as a Director
on the board of GMG Trust Ltd and various other corporate entities
within the group. He previously worked with Rubicon Administration
Services from 2005 to 2006, Global Financial Strategies and Credo Group
from 2000 to 2005, and Standard Bank from 1993 to 2000.
Sean Gaskell joined Geneva Management Group in December of 2008
as director and head of private client services for Africa. Sean held the
position of Chief Executive Officer of Sentinel International Advisory
Services (Pty) Ltd, before joining Geneva Management Group at the
end of 2008. Sean has been involved in securitisation and other special
purpose vehicle structures since 2005 and holds a number of important
directorships in key client matters. Sean has a Bachelor of Business
Science degree in Finance from the University of Cape Town.
Kim Setzkorn joined Geneva Management Group in December 2008 and
works in close association with Sean Gaskell. Kim holds a Bachelor of Law
and Arts degrees, both from the University of South Africa. Kim was admitted
as an attorney of the High Court of South Africa in August 2002 and remained
in practice with Taitz & Skikne until she joined Sentinel International Advisory
Services (Pty) Ltd. At Sentinel Kim worked as a legal advisor specializing in
fiduciary and tax services to high net worth clients.
