How to select which paint to use
Wattyl Solagard offers a variety of paint finishes from Masonry Matt to Gloss. It will depend on your personal preference
on which finish you choose. You can try using more than one finish e.g for walls use Low Sheen, use Gloss for trims and
Satin for gutters and downpipes. Or try one of Solagard’s Texture products for a more varied finish to create dimension
and character.

Solagard Masonry Matt is for masonry
walls. Its low gloss level is uniquely
formulated to help hide surface
imperfections and irregularities over large areas such as
concrete or rendered walls.
Masonry Matt resists dirt pick up and surface mould, to help
keep surfaces looking better for longer, particularly on south
facing masonry walls where mould is more prevalent.
Solagard Low Sheen’s gloss level
provides the best balance between
appearance, dirt resistance and
flexibility for greater protection.

Solagard Satin provides a smooth,
lustrous satin finish for areas such as
walls and trims. This sheen level has
been matched to Colorbond® for a uniform appearance.
Solagard Gloss is designed for easy
application in a variety of conditions,
and it dries to a rich, even gloss finish.
TIP - Coat window frames sparingly in contact areas.
To avoid sticking move windows within 30 minutes and
again in the first 24 hours.

Stone can create a variety of decorative effects or finishes.

texture coating that provides a low profile sandy textured finish. It can achieve four different fine

TIP - If you want to change the colour, overcoat with Wattyl Solagard Low Sheen or Masonry Matt, this will also
provide extra protection.

coating. It provides high build, full coverage texture finishes which vary through different application
