Company profile<br />
Tzinorot is the largest steel pipe manufacturer in Israel. The Company produces and markets steel<br />
pipes used in <strong>water</strong>, sewage, fuel, gas and energy infrastructures, as well as structural pipes used in<br />
construction.<br />
<strong>Pipes</strong> ranging in diameter from 3” to 100” are produced and insulated at the Company plant in Tzrifin.<br />
Hot dip galvanization of pipes and other products is carried out at the Company’s Acre facility.<br />
This year, Tzinorot took its first step into the international market, exporting over 100 km of pipes,<br />
weighing thousands of tons, to the oil industry in the US.<br />
During 2010, Tzinorot penetrated the cleantech industry by establishing I-Solar GreenTech, wholly<br />
owned subsidiary which supplied pipeline components <strong>for</strong> the US solar energy industry <strong>for</strong> tens millions<br />
of US Dollars.<br />
Background of the company<br />
Gaon Agro Industries Ltd., a subsidiary of B. Gaon Holdings, has controlling interest in Tzinorot, holding<br />
51% of the Company’s shares. Tzinorot has been traded on the Tel Aviv Stock Exchange since 1993.<br />
Tzinorot’s annual sales <strong>for</strong> 2009 are about 75 million US Dollars range, and expected to increase its<br />
revenues due to the penetration to the US Energy and Oil markets. The company employs around 250<br />
people at its two facilities. Tzinorot’s annual production capability is 80,000 tons.<br />
Tzinorot hold 20% of the shares in Plasim, a company which manufactures and markets plastic pipes<br />
made of polyethylene, PVC and polypropylene <strong>for</strong> <strong>water</strong>, sewage, electricity and communications<br />
infrastructures.<br />
Examples of projects<br />
Tzinorot supplied the pipes <strong>for</strong> the 252 km. “Eilat-Ashkelon” fuel line.Tzinorot supplied to<br />
“Netivei Gas” Company 30,000 meters of 18” diameter piping from grade X-52 steel to be used <strong>for</strong> gas<br />
transport.Tzinorot manufactures 100” diameter pipes <strong>for</strong> Israel’s national <strong>water</strong> company, “Mekorot”, to<br />
upgrade existing <strong>water</strong> pipes and the national <strong>water</strong> carrier.<br />
During 2010, Tzinorot supplied pipes totaled of over 100 km and weighed thousands of tons to the oil<br />
industry in the US, as well as pipeline components <strong>for</strong> the US solar energy industry <strong>for</strong> tens millions of<br />
US Dollars.<br />
Technologies & products<br />
Steel pipes from 3” up 100”, Most of the pipes are protected from corrosion by internal cement linings,<br />
various additives and exterior coatings, primarily three-layer extruded polyethylene (Trio coating).Hot dip<br />
