Registration in Person<br />
Students can register in person beginning the first day <strong>of</strong> registration, Monday<br />
February 25, 2013 at CTC Student Advising <strong>and</strong> Registration Center, at 604 Barnette<br />
Street, Room 110. Forms are available at www.uaf.edu/reg/forms.<br />
Registration by Mail/Fax<br />
Students can register through the mail or by fax by completing the registration form<br />
at www.uaf.edu/reg/forms. This option is only available to students who are NOT<br />
seeking a degree or certificate.<br />
Submit the completed form to the CTC Student Advising <strong>and</strong> Registration Center, at<br />
604 Barnette Street, Room 110. For fax submittals, please fax to 907-455-2828.<br />
Web registration steps<br />
Log in to http://uaonline.alaska.edu.<br />
Log on to the secured area using your student ID number <strong>and</strong> your PIN. Your PIN was<br />
originally set to your date <strong>of</strong> birth. If this is the first time you have signed on to the<br />
web, you’ll be asked to change your PIN if you haven’t done so already.<br />
Select Student Services <strong>and</strong> Account Information.<br />
Select Registration <strong>and</strong> follow the menu:<br />
Click Select Term (select the current term).<br />
Select Check Your Registration Eligibility (print your registration form, check<br />
registration eligibility, major, residency status, etc.).<br />
Look up courses to add: If you need to find a course to add, select Class Search.<br />
To assist your search, be sure to select <strong>UAF</strong>-Main Campus in the Campus field <strong>and</strong><br />
select the subject. If you are looking for a specific course number, be sure to put<br />
an F in the first position <strong>of</strong> the course number (i.e., F101).<br />
Select Register/Add/Drop: To register for classes, enter the <strong>Cou</strong>rse Reference<br />
Numbers (CRN) in the Add Class section. When you have entered all <strong>of</strong> the CRNs<br />
for your classes, press Submit Changes. Your current schedule will appear. If<br />
there are any errors, check the error message <strong>and</strong> then select Submit Changes to<br />
remove the error. Note: If you select “Error” you will find an explanation <strong>of</strong> the type<br />
<strong>of</strong> error that has occurred.<br />
When your schedule is complete: Select Complete Registration Changes to tally<br />
your fees <strong>and</strong> tuition. Then select Student Detail Schedule to see the times <strong>and</strong><br />
classrooms for your classes in a weekly schedule format.<br />
Variable Credit Class/Auditing a Class: If you register for a course that has<br />
variable credit or you want to audit a course, select Change Class Options. Enter<br />
the amount <strong>of</strong> credit you want. Press the Grade Mode menu <strong>and</strong> highlight “Audit”<br />
to select that option.<br />

This four-day workshop experience is designed to develop leadership skills in high<br />
school students. The series is open to those students finishing 9th grade to 12th<br />
