Muslim Women's Council - Newsletter Edition 1

The Muslim Women's Council was developed in response to a series of informal conversations with Muslim Women from across the Bradford district and with key Muslim female figures from around the UK over a number of years. A feasibility study was conducted in 2009 which identified a need to establish a Muslim Women led regional structure. The MWC believe's that women have a vital role to play in all aspects of public and private life. Their particpation has always been prominent throughout history and in the current state, the role of Muslim Women living in the UK has never been more important.

Curry Circle
We started this project 11 months ago,
serving food to those less fortunate.
The formula is simple. A team of
volunteers serve a hot curry, drinks
and dessert to people across the
district living in poverty. We rely on
donations from individuals and
businesses.
