blessing. And the good word<br />
of your Lord was fulfilled for<br />
the Children of Israel, for<br />
they had endured with<br />
patience. And We destroyed<br />
all that Pharaoh and his<br />
people had built, and that<br />
which they had erected.<br />
138. And We brought the<br />
Children of Israel across<br />
the sea, then they came<br />
upon a people devoted <strong>to</strong><br />
idols of theirs (in worship).<br />
They said: “O Moses, make<br />
for us a god same as<br />
they have gods.” He said:<br />
“<strong>You</strong> are indeed an<br />
ignorant people.”<br />
139. “Indeed, these people<br />
will be destroyed for that<br />
which they are engaged in.<br />
And vain is that which (idols<br />
worship) they are doing.”<br />
