3 REQUIREMENTS
3.1 Interface Identification
This ICD defines the interfaces between the Next Generation Global Positioning System
(GPS) Operational Control Segment (OCX) and the GPS user and user-support
communities during the OCX era. The files provided by the GPS OCX to these GPS
Users are the Almanacs, Operational Advisories (OasOAs), Anti-Spoofing (A-S) status,
and the Notice Advisory to Navstar Users (NANUs) files corresponding to all legacy
signals and the new signals L1C, L2C, L5, and M-Code. The primary means for
distribution of the data that is generated by the GPS OCX is via electronic mail (e-mail),
iInternet and SIPRNetET.
Figure 1 captures the interfaces defined in this ICD.
