Patents, Technology, Methodology, Genetic Stock, Variety, etc. • Resource characterisation and database on salt affected soils of Bara tract under Sardar Sarovar Canal Command of Gujarat and different watershed in Gujarat • Package of practices for cultivation of highly salt tolerant industrial important halophyte- Salvadora persica. • Package of practices for cultivation of moderately salt tolerant seed spice crop-dill (Anethum graveolens) on salt affected black soils. • Suitable model comprising of fruit crops, vegetables, spices and multipurpose trees was developed for the saline black soils of the Bara tract area of Gujarat where farmers are resource poor and scarcity of good quality waters.
