1. Schedule in Thailand (tentative)
On 19 Aug – 2 Sep 2013, you will enjoy various activities for culture, field trip and sightseeing with
international students.
For example:
learning Thai basic language
visiting Royal Grand Palace Royal
site project and Floating market
CSR project and field trip in the rural
area
2. Accommodation
The participants will stay on-<strong>camp</strong>us dormitory
or guesthouse nearby the university. The student will stay in the twin room which includes air
conditioner, closet, table and bathroom. The laundry service is available on the 1 st floor of female
dormitory where stays not far from the guest dormitory.
3. Program cost:
The program fee for nominated student is $150/student. It includes field trips, accommodation,
cultural activities and local transportation during the program.
Accommodation and local transportation during the program
are provided by <strong>KMUTT</strong> in kind. The meals and all other personal
expenses (such as expenses for international air ticket, souvenirs,
international phone calls and so on) will be responsible by the
individual.
4. Application procedure
Participants will be selected from <strong>KMUTT</strong> partner universities in
ASEAN, Japan, China and Taiwan.
4.1 Required Documents for Application
• Completed Application Form
• Academic Transcript from Home University (in English)
• One Passport Photograph
• Copy of passport

4.2 The application documents of nominated students should be sent directly by international
office of host university to oranut.sae@kmutt.ac.th and int.off@kmutt.ac.th.
4.3 The deadline of application is June 17th, 2013
4.4 The final name list of participants will be announced on June June 28, 2013
5. Things to bring to Thailand
Generally, most shops in Thai accept Thai Baht. You are recommended to prepare Thai Baht
before assembly. If you have difficulty in acquiring Thai Baht in your country, it is advisable to prepare
US Dollars instead. You can buy Thai Baht at the airport. The exchange rate fluctuates daily,
depending on the money market.
For your reference:
A bottle of water=10 Baht or above
A normal dish/meal =40-60 Baht or above
A bus fee =10-23 Baht or above
A fee for sky train = 20-45 Baht or above
5. Notes and Regulations
* Smoking in the public area is prohibited
Thailand.
* Punctuality is required.
* Take care of your valuables (money, passport, etc.) on your own.
* Thailand's voltage is 220-240AC, 50 Hertz
6. Overseas Travel Insurance
Participants are provided with overseas travel insurance covering the
whole program period (from the day of departure from your home in
your countries to the day of arrival to your home in your countries).
