They are a nation without sense, there is no discernment in them. If only they were
wise and would understand this and discern what their end will be! – Deuteronomy
District Leaders: queue
Beginning immediately, I am calling on all 4 th District churches, to participate in
Turnout Tuesday, a national voter participation initiative. The goal is to empower
ordinary Americans to exert their right to choose their government on November 6,
2012. I am encouraging everyone to:
1. Provide and/or raise the funding for 10-‐100 people to obtain a state I.D. ($20 each)
prior to Election Day and send to the District Office.
2. Host a voter registration drive and make sure everyone knows how to get registered
3. Educate the community about early/absentee voting
4. Host a prayer vigil on Monday, November 5, in anticipation of Election Day
5. Host a sunrise worship service on Election Day
6. Provide transportation from your house of worship to voting facilities
7. VOTE!
As much as money can influence an election, the only real power to elect is to VOTE.
You can go to www.turnouttuesday.com which will provide ongoing assistance to all
who want to help grow voter registration and participation.
Key dates to be aware of:
• Last day to register to vote: Tuesday, October 9, 2012
• Absentee Voting: Began September 27; all in-‐person absentee requests must
be received by the Election Authority by November 5; all requests by mail
must be -‐received by November 1
• Early Voting: October 22 – November 3 at designated locations
• Prayer Vigil: Monday, November 5, 2012
• Election Day: Tuesday, November 6, 2012

God Bless,
