Message from the Deputy Vice-
Chancellor of La Trobe University
La Trobe University was established in
1964 and commenced teaching in 1967 in
Melbourne, Victoria. The university has grown
rapidly to become one of Australia’s leading
research-based institutions with over 29,000
students and approximately 2,500 staff. La
Trobe has five campuses in Victoria and
delivers off-shore programs in China, France,
Malaysia and Vietnam, as well as offering
business and IT courses at ACN in Sydney for
the last decade.
