About three months ago, I had the privilege of leading
Alberto Lira to Christ, the 87-year-old father of one of our
deacons. Yesterday he left this earth to enter into the kingdom
of heaven. Last night at the viewing, I was able to
present the gospel to the family that had gathered and seven
of them accepted Christ. What was interesting was that a
man from a viewing across the hall came in to listen. At the

Bonnie came to Korea to teach
English. Coming from a broken
home and with no religious training,
Bonnie was amazed to hear
the message of the love of Christ
shown for her at Calvary. At first she couldn’t understand

end, he asked me to go to his room
and speak to his family who were
mourning the loss of his brother. I
presented the gospel to them and
17 members of that family made a
profession of faith in Christ. I am thankful to have a part in
what God is doing here in Mexico City.

any other “teacher,” but she finally understood him to be
the eternal Son of God and placed her faith and trust in His
work for her. Joy flooded her face as she gave her public
testimony and was baptized on a Sunday morning.
