Kandy Basecoats (KBC SERIES)<br />
‘Outstanding colour at every stage <strong>of</strong> your project!’<br />
This is a specially developed basecoat that mimics <strong>the</strong> ever popular Kandy finish. Easy to use<br />
with a low film build, makes this basecoat suitable for street riders, especially being touch<br />
up friendly. Available in <strong>the</strong> same great 20 colours as Urethane Kandys to produce limitless<br />
variations <strong>of</strong> colour combinations.<br />
• Feature fast coverage, high pigmentation and low solids.<br />
• Application is reasonably simple and able to be touched up if required.<br />
• Universal basecoat that may be simply cleared for a final finish or used as a<br />
basecoat with o<strong>the</strong>r Kandys or Pearls in <strong>the</strong> HOK range.<br />
Glamour & Fine Metallic (BC & FBC SERIES)<br />
‘Versatile platform product that creates a world <strong>of</strong> endless colour’<br />
Shimrin Metallic colour bases have a captivatingly rich colour. Versatile in that <strong>the</strong>y can<br />
be used as basecoats beneath a Kandy application or simply clear over <strong>the</strong> top for a<br />
vibrant metallic finish. From this metallic platform colour possibilities become endless, as<br />
Shimrin Metallic Bases may be intermixed with o<strong>the</strong>r Shimrins including <strong>the</strong> Neons, Graphic<br />
<strong>Kolor</strong>s and Designer Pearls to create a truly one-<strong>of</strong>-a-kind custom finish. All 12 colours are<br />
available in both fine & coarse grades to give you even more opportunity to create your<br />
own unique finish.<br />

Neons (NE SERIES)<br />
‘Eye-grabbing graphic impact’<br />
Shimrin Neons are designed for hard-hitting high visual impact. Perfect for highlights on race<br />
cars, boats and signage where eye-catching intensity is craved. We recommend clearcoating<br />
with our HOK Urethane clear which contains much more UV absorbers than o<strong>the</strong>r standard<br />
clears – thus reducing possible sun fade.<br />
• Shimrin Neons have a limited colour fastness in <strong>the</strong> direct sun, so an overall project in<br />
Neon is not recommended.<br />
• Universal basecoat that may be simply cleared for a final<br />
finish or in graphics and artwork.<br />
