DUAL-CHANNEL AUDIO/VIDEO ENCODER<br />

H.264/MPEG-4 AVC<br />

The <strong>AL1000</strong> performs up to two H.264/MPEG-4 AVC Main/High Profile Level 3 (Standard<br />

Definition) Broadcast Quality real-time audio and video encodings, without any frame drop.<br />

It can be used for both CBR and VBR operation. The encoding operation can include a high<br />

quality picture resize. The <strong>AL1000</strong> also supports several audio compression formats including<br />

MPEG-1 Layer II, AAC-LC and aacPlus.<br />

The <strong>AL1000</strong> is perfectly suited for Satellite, Cable, Terrestrial and Video-over-IP broadcasting.<br />

Thanks to its state of the art H.264/MPEG-4 AVC compression and its high level of integration,<br />

<strong>AL1000</strong> allows service providers to significantly reduce their transmission costs.<br />

The device is packaged in a single rack unit (1RU) and handles two independent encoding<br />

channels.<br />
