We offer a complete range of automatic and passive welding filters, all of them categorised in a convenient 

performance ladder following a clear performance hierarchy. This allows users to make an informed choice of the

Surface Mode (exclusive to KIMBERLY-CLARK PROFESSIONAL*) 

In the light state of a surface mode liquid crystal display, 

only the liquid crystal molecules at the outside surfaces 

are at rest with their long axis parallel to the display’s outer 

surfaces. The liquid crystal at the centre of the display 

is aligned perpendicular to the outside display surfaces. 

When the high voltage pulse is applied, only the molecules 

near the surface need to rotate the full 90 degrees as the 

filter switches. Therefore, the switching speed is much 

faster, reducing the exposure of the eyes to the harmful 

radiation that damages the cornea.

Twisted Nematic liquid crystal display molecules in the 

light state are parallel to the display’s outer surfaces. 

When the high voltage pulse is applied the molecules 

rotate a full 90 degrees. 

Single or Dual Super Twisted Nematic 

Based on the traditional TN liquid crystal technology, the 

superior STN variant allows the liquid crystal molecules 

to turn up to 270 degrees. This improves optical properties 

across the viewing area to reduce eye fatigue as the eye 

does not have to adjust to different shades.

Airborne hazards contain solid and liquid particles from welding 

fumes and dust that may require additional respiratory protection

rates, using a single body shell. All components are B rated as per EN 175 requirements at 120 m/sec impact resistance. The WH60 Translight

The warranty term for ADFs, welding helmets and PAPR blower units starts from the day the device is manufactured as indicated in the traceability code that goes with each unit. 

Physical condition of the defective devices: Any modification to the original design, misuse of the product contrary to the intended application advertised by KCP, or any other explicit 

recommendation included in the correspondent instructions manual or abuse of the product will void the warranty. Specific defects on welding filters (ADFs), helmets and PAPR systems not 

covered by the warranty include: 

• Any damage created by fall or impact against a solid object and contact with hot surfaces and flames; exposure to excessive heat or force when adjusting replaceable components 

• Any power supply issues derived from corrosion from batteries exposed to excessive humidity or direct exposure to liquids 

• Any defect caused by spatter on the liquid crystal or solar panel 

• Deterioration from normal use on the decoration of the painted surfaces 

Enquiries: If you suspect that the functionality of the product is affected, and the instructions provided with each PPE device can’t solve the problem, stop the use of the PPE device, locate and 

register the traceability code available printed on the product and contact your sales representative or our technical information service line: infofax@kcc.com. Our Customer Services may 

request you to ship the product back to us for further examination and provide further instructions for cleaning and packaging prior to transportation.
