Ordering Tips
Order the Right Parts
Remember to order special installation parts when you place your order. Things like cord
cleats, spacer blocks and hold down brackets are free when they ship with your shade order but
are costly if forgotten. Your installation could be delayed and a second freight charge may
apply.
Room Locations
DSC wants to know the room location of every shade you order. Providing this information
alerts the workroom to any potential fabric, pattern or cord match requirements and it also
helps you install the job in less time.
Continuous Cord Loop Systems
The Easy Up and Powerlift headrails are continuous cord loop systems. Cord loops are
available in 12” increments. DSC will supply the proper length cord loop automatically but if
you have a special requirement, please note desired length when you order.
Side by Side Shades
Be sure to notate on the order when shades are side by side. This ensures that pleat spacing,
cords and fabric patterns are matched. Shades that are the same length can easily be matched
however, shades of varying lengths may not line up perfectly.
Top Down/Bottom Up
The Top Down/Bottom Up feature is the most popular privacy
option in window coverings.
Note: On a continuous cord loop system the top down feature
will be operated by the standard pull cord and the bottom up
feature will be operated by the continuous cord loop.
