<strong>The</strong> <strong>Region</strong> V <strong>Council</strong> <strong>for</strong> <strong>Special</strong> <strong>Education</strong> / <strong>River</strong> <strong>Edge</strong> <strong>Board</strong> <strong>of</strong> <strong>Education</strong> is seeking to<br />
fill the following position:<br />
F/T Transportation Coordinator<br />
Job Requirement:<br />
Duties:<br />
• 12 month position<br />
• 7:30-3:30pm<br />
• Knowledge <strong>of</strong> Excel, Micros<strong>of</strong>t Word and database programs<br />
• Highly organized and detail oriented<br />
• Excellent communicator<br />
• Handle all aspects <strong>of</strong> transportation <strong>for</strong> the twelve public school<br />
district members <strong>of</strong> <strong>Region</strong> V including but not limited to:<br />
- All aspects <strong>of</strong> bids including advertising, set up, and opening<br />
- Transportation contracts<br />
- Monthly transportation billing<br />
- Bus routing <strong>of</strong> students <strong>for</strong> school year and summer<br />
- Review and make recommendations to Director <strong>for</strong> cost<br />
effectiveness<br />
- Financial reports to Director and Business Administrators<br />
- Ensures transportation companies adhere to policies/regulations<br />
- Close interaction with parents, transportation companies and<br />
school staff<br />
