Les résultats de l'étude annuelle sur l'externalisation des services logistiques 

conduite par Capgemini, le Georgia Insitute of Technology, Oracle et DHL peuvent 

varier considérablement d'une fois sur l'autre. Ainsi, la treizième édition de cette 

enquête, menée auprès de 1.644 responsables logistiques du monde entier (hormis 

l'Afrique), fait apparaître une préoccupation forte en matière de sécurité de la 

chaîne logistique (76% des personnes interrogées), en particulier au sujet des 

coûts liés aux obligations de mise en conformité face aux menaces terroristes.
