Her bridge is a study in efficiency, her cockpit tuned to the requirements<br />
of serious anglers. Inside, are the elegant salon, roomy dinette, and<br />
well-equipped galley that distinguish every <strong>Ocean</strong>. Below, a true master<br />
stateroom announces the precedence of her owners. Together with<br />
two additional staterooms and two heads, the yacht carries eight<br />
travelers in comfort.<br />
For gray days and blue sky ones, for anglers and cruisers both –<br />
the 50 Super Sport has become one of sportfishing’s and cruising’s<br />
most accommodating and sought-after midsized yachts.<br />

FISHING
SALON<br />
The spacious salon is enriched by teak, or optional cherry, bulkheads and cabinets,<br />
sumptuous fabrics, wall treatments, upholstered panels and valances. New owner’s<br />
can choose one of three designer decor selections from William Bales and Company.<br />
An upholstered chair complements the L-lounge, with concealed rod storage. The<br />
entertainment center includes a LCD TV with a Bose Lifestyle 18 Stereo System<br />
and CD/DVD player.<br />
GALLEY<br />
The modern galley is equipped with a convection/microwave oven, a three-burner<br />
range, a refrigerator and freezer. Working surfaces and storage (including an underfloor<br />
compartment) are ample. Other standard amenities include a trash compactor and central<br />
vacuuming system. Sink and countertops are Corian ® , the floor Amtico ® .<br />
DINETTE<br />
The salon’s cocktail ottoman supplements a handsome and roomy dinette table. The large<br />
portside galley is two steps from the dinette. The main deck is fluid and open, allowing<br />
ease of movement.<br />
MASTER STATEROOM<br />
The luxurious master stateroom, to port, has a walkaround full berth, a vanity, two<br />
cedar-lined hanging lockers, and clothes drawers. A LCD TV with DVD plus an AM/FM<br />
stereo with CD player are standard. This yacht’s master stateroom possesses<br />
the room, amenities, and private head entrance typical of larger models.<br />
MASTER & GUEST HEADS<br />
Both heads feature private showers, mirrored medicine cabinets, linen storage, Corian ®<br />
countertops, VacuFlush ® toilets, exhaust blowers, and contemporary fixtures. The flooring<br />
is Amtico ® .<br />
GUEST STATEROOM<br />
The forward guest stateroom is available in standard “A” plan which has a large island<br />
berth. The optional “B” plan has an upper-and-lower berth arrangement. Both layouts<br />
feature ample storage and a cedar-lined hanging locker.<br />
CREW STATEROOM<br />
The third stateroom, to starboard, has comfortable side-by-side twin berths, a cedar-lined<br />
hanging locker, and plush carpeting. The teak raised panel entrance door carries the<br />
interior accent. Washer and dryer units are located outside, in the companionway.
LIVING
The 50 Super Sport possesses the soft contours, elegant design, and distinctive sheerline that make <strong>Ocean</strong>s the touchstone in classic American production yachts.<br />
Like her sister ships, the 50 SS has an evolved planing hull, which makes them the best roughwater yachts in <strong>Ocean</strong>’s 30 year history – perhaps the best in their class. They can<br />
remain at cruising speed, in difficult seas, and not take a beating. While foul weather may keep most other sportfishermen at the dock, they are running for the offshore canyons –<br />
and big-game fish.<br />
The 50 Super Sport is capable of 30+ knots with standard diesel engines driving her. Optional powerplants are available for those wanting even more power.<br />

CRUISING
FLYBRIDGE<br />
The bridge boasts a fully instrumented, angled helm station with excellent visibility. The<br />
custom-designed hardtop with three-sided enclosure, lounge seating, under-seat storage<br />
compartment, companion and helmsman’s chairs are all standard. An EZ2CY enclosure is<br />
a popular option, as are an aft enclosure, a refrigerator/freezer box, and a hatch<br />
in the hardtop.<br />
ENGINE ROOM<br />
Insulated, the roomy engine room suppresses engine noise and heat. Awlgrip finish and an<br />
11.5 kW generator are standard.<br />
COCKPIT<br />
The transom-mounted circulating live baitwell, tackle locker, insulated drink box, and the<br />
bait prep center’s freezer and fresh-water sink enhance the sportfishing experience. A<br />
hinged gate in the transom door, fresh and seawater washdowns, rodholders, and large<br />
insulated fishboxes are standard. A refrigerated fishbox is an option.<br />
Rupp outriggers, center rigger, and a fighting chair are tournament-ready options.<br />
