Lisa Selman-Holman JD, BSN, RN, HCS-D, COS-C
Lisa is a veteran of home care with over 23 years spent in home health and hospice,
both as an RN and as an attorney practicing exclusively in home care. She is the
owner of Selman-Holman & Associates, LLC, a full-service home care consulting firm
and CoDR (Coding Done Right), an outsourcing company for home care coding. She is
certified in homecare coding and holds the Certificate of OASIS Specialty-Clinical.
She serves as a consulting editor for Eli Research’s Home Health ICD-9 Alert and to
Decision Health’s Diagnosis Coding Pro for Home Health. She is the technical editor of
the Decision Health Complete Home Health ICD-9-CM Diagnosis Coding Manual. Lisa is
on the Homecare Coding Specialist-Diagnosis( HCS-D) national advisory board for the
Board of Medical Specialty Coding (BMSC). She has participated on the Exam Review
Task Force for the OASIS Certificate & Competency Board (OCCB), as well as the Texas
Medical Foundation's Quality Improvement Organization State Home Health Coalition
for OBQI.
Diane Taylor,BSN, RN, COS-C
Diane has extensive experience in the home health field and offers an insightful
approach in handling and managing home health issues. Since 1990,
Diane’s experience in home health has ran the gamut: from field nurse, to
nurse education coordinator for a large multi-site agency, and Director of Regional
Operations for a statewide home health management company.
As a consultant with Selman Holman & Assoc. she assists agencies with
process refinement, performs compliance and due diligence audits and provides
OASIS education to agencies and groups of any size. She has been
involved with Medicare, private duty agencies and she was the Director of
Nurses at a Long Term Care Facility.
