Alain Vallet joined the group in 1979 as marketing<br />
executive for wine and spirits. He actively participated in<br />
the re-engineering of the Grays cluster in the early eighties<br />
and was appointed Chief Executive Officer in 1989 and<br />
a Grays director in 1993. He is a member of <strong>Harel</strong> <strong>Frère</strong>s'<br />
Management Committee. He has served on a number of<br />
private sector institutions, such as The Mauritius Chamber<br />
of Commerce and <strong>In</strong>dustry, the Association of Mauritian<br />

Louis Denis Koenig worked as a Statistician at The Anglo-<br />
Mauritius Assurance Society Limited before joining the<br />
group in 1990 as Assistant Secretary. He is at present a<br />
member of the company's Management Committee. He<br />
held a Dealers Representative licence from the Financial<br />
Services Commission and has acted in such capacity for<br />
Cavell Securities <strong>Ltd</strong>, since 1992 up to October <strong>2006</strong>. He<br />
was also a director of The Stock Exchange of Mauritius <strong>Ltd</strong><br />
and of The Central Depositary & Settlement Co <strong>Ltd</strong> and a<br />
member of the <strong>In</strong>dex Management Committee (SEM 7) of<br />
the Stock Exchange until October <strong>2006</strong>.<br />
New appointment<br />
Jean Pierre Hardy will be proposed for election at the<br />
forthcoming <strong>Annual</strong> Meeting in replacement of Dominique<br />
de Froberville who will not stand for re-election. A summary<br />

First appointed to the Board 1988 to 2003<br />
After having completed his studies, Jean Pierre Hardy<br />
worked in Europe and Reunion until 1987, when he<br />
returned to Mauritius to run a sworn broker's office. He is<br />
self employed and has since launched a number of business<br />
ventures in textiles, information technology and finance.<br />
Besides being actively engaged in several NGO's and<br />
associations involved in the social and educational fields, he<br />
is a past member of the NPCC’s <strong>In</strong>novation Committee and<br />
of the Comité pour la Promotion de l’Unité Nationale. He<br />
was a director of <strong>Harel</strong> <strong>Frère</strong>s Limited and of a number of<br />
subsidiaries between 1988 and 2003.<br />
