In 1974, Dr. D. James Kennedy founded Coral Ridge Ministries — an
international media organization dedicated to proclaiming the Gospel and
inspiring believers with biblical truth. Today, Truth in Action® continues to
reach today’s generation with that same vision of hope, understanding, and
cultural transformation.
Our challenge is to educate, motivate, and activate the Body of Christ to
understand what it means to have a biblical outlook on life — and how
to apply that “worldview” to every aspect of their lives. We believe that
equipping and engaging believers with the power of the Gospel can make
the world a better place for our children and grandchildren.

Who We Are
Truth in Action is a national media ministry that educates,
motivates, and activates believers to understand God’s
truth, apply it to their daily lives, and transform their
culture for Christ.
With more than 35 years of ministry passion, two
national television programs, and an audience of half a
million, Truth in Action equips believers to understand
God’s word, see their lives from a biblical perspective, and
make a difference in the world.

A Legacy Of Faith…
Dr. Kennedy firmly believed in the transforming power
of God’s Word and the importance of bringing the Gospel
into all aspects of society. That’s why he built an entire
ministry dedicated to bringing the life-giving truth of
Scripture to every corner of American culture, including
entertainment, news media, and politics.

A Promising Future
Today, we’re embracing that vision with new hope … and
a new perspective. In 2011, Coral Ridge Ministries
became Truth in Action, an organization with the heart
of its founder and a passionate vision for bringing God’s
truth to today’s generation in relevant and practical ways.
We believe God will do great things through Truth in
Action. And with your help, we can transform our
culture for Christ.
In 1978, The Coral Ridge Hour was launched, followed
by Truths that Transform. Since then, both programs have
received awards of excellence from the National Religious
Broadcasters association — and because of their impact,
thousands have accepted Jesus Christ as their personal
Lord and Savior.

America — one God has used to touch millions

About Our Ministry
In 1974, Dr. D. James Kennedy founded Coral Ridge
Ministries, a small media outreach dedicated to
bringing the Gospel into every area of culture. As a
result, thousands have been led to faith in Jesus Christ.

In 2010, the Board of Directors of Coral Ridge
Ministries voted unanimously to rebrand the ministry
and adopt a new name … Truth in Action, an exciting
change unveiled in 2011.

OPENING EYES TO THE VALUE OF LIFE
Today, abortion is one of the most controversial
issues facing our culture. But contrary to opposition
from abortion-choice organizations and government
forces, we know that life is precious. As believers,
God calls us to be a voice for those who can not
speak for themselves … and open eyes to the divine
potential in each and every life.
We brought truth to hundreds of women wrestling
with news of unplanned pregnancy through
AbortionAnswersNow.org — a ministry website
geared to women at risk of abortion.
This powerful site features eye-opening information
on the physical development of preborn children,
moving testimonies from women who have walked
difficult paths, and helpful resources and services to
speak to struggling families. And because of support
from friends like you, women have chosen life for
their babies.
Our AbortionAnswersNow.org website is just one
of the ways we’re educating believers with the truth
of God’s Word.

calls, letters, and e-mails from individuals seeking
answers for life’s challenges, guidance for their faith
walk and deep concern about the moral decline in
our culture. We strive to address each one.

Christ begins with individuals. When believers are
equipped with biblical guidance and motivated to
apply it to their daily lives, we begin to see true change
in our communities, our nation, and our world.
Each year, we send more than one million
newsletters and six million e-mails filled with
critical updates, leading-edge information on news
and politics, and opportunities to make a difference.

IN THE PUBLIC SQUARE
As followers of Christ, we have the opportunity
and responsibility to be a voice for truth in the
public square. Each day, Truth in Action equips and
empowers believers to stand firm for faith, freedom,
and family values in their communities and around
the world.
From informing concerned citizens of practical
ways to influence public debate, to encouraging
involvement in today’s most important faith and
family issues, we’re activating the Body of Christ.
In recent years, numerous petition campaigns have
been launched to influence government decisions.
As a result, Washington is hearing that righteousness
matters to the people of America. Abortion-choice
legislation has been challenged, anti-religious
agendas have been tamed, and America’s rich
heritage of Christian faith has been preserved.
In 2010 alone, more than 100,000 petitions signed by
our partners were sent to members in Congress and
those holding influential positions in our nation.

Also in 2010, the ministry received orders for nearly
2,000 copies of Beginning Again. Written by Dr.
Kennedy, Beginning Again explains the basics of the
Christian faith for new believers and is offered on The
Coral Ridge Hour to those who pray to receive Jesus
Christ as Lord.
Each week on The Coral Ridge Hour, we presented
the Good News to viewers nationwide, inviting
them to profess faith in Christ. More than 1,000
people responded, making a decision to trust Christ
with their life.

Cross Examine is a bold new television program that
helps believers understand biblical truth, look at life
with the mind of Christ, and live it out daily.
This weekly program provides practical information
on a wide variety of biblical worldview topics like
family, government, education, and marriage. Most
importantly, it equips viewers to apply this worldview
to each area of their lives for maximum Kingdom
impact. It’s a turnkey program that has already been
instrumental in engaging a younger audience with
timeless truths of the Gospel.
In its first year of production, more than 100,000
viewers from 50,000 households now watch on TV
or online to receive challenging biblical teaching that
speaks to their lives. Cross Examine airs on six cable
networks with the potential to reach up to 50 million
