WHAT BUSINESS BOOK DO YOU MOST RECOMMEND? WHY? "Escape From Cubicle Nation"
by Pamela Slim. This book takes one from being a trapped, corporate-world employee all the way to
self-employment, leaving no stone, fact, option or emotion unturned. It is thorough and realistic.
HAVE YOU EVER WORKED WITH A NOTABLE PERSON OR CELEBRITY? Kathy: I waitressed
in college and waited on James Brown at the College Heights Pizza Hut. I still have his autograph on a
placemat. He was a genuinely nice guy.
CAN YOU SHARE A WEIRD FUN FACT ABOUT YOUR PROFESSION THAT WE MIGHT NOT
KNOW? Yes! You can speed skate and figure skate on roller skates, just like on ice. We currently offer
both of these sports at Rollerworks.
WHAT ARE YOU MOST LIKELY TO BE SPOTTED DOING WHEN YOU'RE NOT WORKING?
Kathy: Gardening, or spending time at the beach. I'd love to find an archaeological dig to participate in.
Terry: I golf frequently, and bowl competitively.
WHO WOULD YOU RATHER SPEND A COUPLE OF HOURS WITH: WARREN BUFFETT,
DORIS BUFFETT OR JIMMY BUFFETT? Doris Buffett. Despite her wealth, she values people over
money and uses her money for good.
