Mentoring “Shadow” Days<br />
• After the 2 Day New Hire Employee Course &<br />
Team Orient<strong>at</strong>ion Meeting<br />
• New instructors are scheduled <strong>for</strong> Shadowing<br />
D<strong>at</strong>es specific training:<br />
– 1:1 training with current instructor on teaching skills<br />
– Be observed teaching; be signed off <strong>for</strong> teaching<br />
– # of days varies from 0 <strong>for</strong> ACLS/PALS, 2 <strong>for</strong> BLS<br />
and Paramedic, and 3-5 <strong>for</strong> EMT<br />
• These are paid shifts <strong>for</strong> New <strong>Instructor</strong>s
