The Show Directory will be distributed at the registration counters when show attendees pick up<br />
their badges. It is used as a guide for the show, seminars, special events and as a reference tool<br />
throughout the year.<br />
When attendees take the Show Directory back to their offices, it is kept as a resource for contacting<br />
exhibitors long after the event is over. What better way to keep your company name and products<br />
in front of retailers than with an advertisement that will remind them of your products!<br />
Ad Reservations are due immediately! Materials are due December 12, 2012<br />
Material Requirements<br />
The Show Directory is perfect bound with a trim size of 8-3/8 x 10-7/8 printed in 4-color process.<br />
Allow for 0.125 bleed on all sides and keep live material at least 0.50 from trim size. Please keep<br />
ad copy within standard size.<br />
Digital files are required (no film).<br />
Macintosh files ONLY. All supporting artwork and fonts (screen & printer) must be included when<br />
sending files. Acceptable fonts are Mac Postscript fonts, no True Type fonts. All graphics must be<br />
CMYK, bitmapped images should be 300 dpi at 100%. Effective resolution of line-art graphics must<br />
be between 1200 and 2400 dpi. Spread ads must be supplied as single pages. Color proofs or hard<br />
copy must be included with all ads. SWOP specified stock is preferred. Each proof should carry a<br />
GATF color bar, or a solid color bar and 50% screen on top. If no proof is supplied, we cannot guarantee<br />
exact color match. Materials not meeting required specifications may incur additional charges.<br />
Creative and production services for advertisements are available and will be quoted upon request.<br />

Press Conference<br />
If you would like to hold a Press Conference during the <strong>Tobacco</strong> <strong>Plus</strong> <strong>Expo</strong>, we will be happy to<br />
provide a complimentary room near the exhibit hall where it can be held. Audio Visual, Catering and<br />
staging fees will be the responsibility of the exhibiting company.<br />

Press Kits<br />
Exhibitors are encouraged to provide press kits for members of the media to pick up during the<br />
<strong>Tobacco</strong> <strong>Plus</strong> <strong>Expo</strong>. The Press Room is located inside the Show Office, making it very convenient<br />
for members of the press to stop in and pick up information about your products.<br />
We recommend that 15 press kits be dropped off in the Press Room during move-in of the show.<br />
The press kits will be placed in alphabetical order on tables. The Press Room will be staffed with<br />
personnel who will collect business cards of members of the press when they sign in. A list of press<br />
will be available after the show.<br />
Public Relations<br />
If you are introducing a new product at the show, consider sending out a news release announcing<br />
the product introduction at the <strong>Tobacco</strong> <strong>Plus</strong> <strong>Expo</strong>. Be sure to follow-up to make sure editors<br />
received the information and to answer any questions they might have.<br />
