Academic Schedule<br />
An academic year consists of two (2) semesters of 15<br />
taught weeks and a summer session of 8 taught weeks<br />
according to the following calendar.<br />
First Semester: July – October (15 weeks)<br />
Second Semester: November – March (15 weeks)<br />
Summer Session: April ‐ June ( 8 weeks)<br />
A course worth 3 credits has 45 hours of instruction<br />
in a semester or equivalent.<br />
The <strong>MBA</strong> program uses English exclusively as the<br />
medium of instruction.<br />
Duration of the Program<br />
A duration required to complete all the course<br />
requirements of the <strong>MBA</strong> program is two (2)<br />
academic year. However, an extension of up to<br />
three (3) months is allowable due to thesis editing,<br />
acceptance for the publication in a journal or<br />
conference proceeding. An industrial i placement or<br />
management training may add extra time and value.<br />
Transfer of Credits<br />
A candidate may request to transfer up to twelve (12)<br />
credits from a relevant postgraduate program<br />
provided the transferred course(s) has the content<br />
compatible with that of the <strong>MBA</strong> course while the<br />
credits of the transferred course(s) are equivalent to 3<br />
credits of the program.<br />
Requirements for Graduation<br />
a) Complete the required courses (36 credits) with a<br />
cumulative grade point average (CGPA) of 3.0<br />
(on a 4.0 scale);<br />
b) Publish a full paper of research article in a<br />
recognized peer‐reviewed journal or proceeding<br />
of an internationally recognized conference. The<br />
article may be a research synopsis or extract of the<br />
thesis.<br />
c) Pass the thesis oral defense and submit the<br />
corrected thesis with the approval of the thesis<br />
committee.<br />

Profile of the College<br />
Established in 2001 as a college of higher education,<br />
St Theresa International College offer Master’s s and<br />
Bachelor’s degree programs based on international<br />
standards and is accredited by the Commission on<br />
Higher Education, Ministry of Education. The College<br />
has a long term commitment to continually develop the<br />
quality of its degree programs through international<br />
collaborations which h in turn allow the students t to<br />
progress into the final year of study and receive a<br />
chosen degree from a partnered university in the UK<br />
(University of East London), USA (Patten University,<br />
CA) or New Zealand (Waiariki Institute of Technology,<br />
Rotorua). This provides the students a unique and costeffective<br />
option to obtain an internationally recognized<br />
qualification.<br />

The College has a main campus located at Ongkarak,<br />
Nakonnayok which is about 70km from Bangkok and is<br />

for Graduate Studies (SCGS) is located at Surawong<br />
Road right in the heart of Bangkok.<br />

Admission Requirements<br />
1. Bachelor’s degree in any field from an accredited<br />
institution,<br />
2. Grade point average (CGPA) of 2.5 or above from<br />
a 4 point scale or equivalent,<br />
3. Sufficient undergraduate training equivalent to the<br />
prerequisites of <strong>MBA</strong> courses and research,<br />
(Upon a recommendation of graduate committee, a<br />
candidate without t background knowledge in<br />
business may need to take the foundation course(s)<br />
prior to or along with the required courses.)<br />
4. Functional command of English (written and verbal<br />
communication),<br />
5. Functional computer and numerical literacy.<br />

3. Official transcript or mark sheets showing all the<br />
courses taken during the study towards Bachelor’s<br />

transcript are required for a foreign student)<br />
4. Four (4x) 1-inch photographs,<br />
5. Letter of recommendation from 2 former<br />
instructors or employers (2 letters),<br />
6. Application fee of 500 baht (non refundable),<br />
7. Passport valid for 1 year (2 copies) for a foreign<br />
student, or<br />
8. Identification card and Residence registration<br />
(2 copies each) for a Thai student.
